When you set up your “R” mode, turn it off and every time you get in and double tap the “R” button it will turn off. Not the best solution, but if your going to use the “R” mode, may as well use it to the fullest.

If you set the max battery charge to a lower level in forscan, it won't allow start stop to kick in. A wonky battery accomplishes the same task.

Will probably void warranty...I recently installed the FP Procal with no updates and it has button memory so its off all the time now.

It hasn't voided the warrsnty or the extended warranty on my 2018 F150.

A dealer and Ford regional service rep would need to prove that NOT shutting off the engine at stops by using the switch caused damage.

I'm surprised that Ford is offering a 'tune', and that they would still honor the factory warranty after install.

Not sure what year your Bronco, but ProCal won’t shut it off on newer models. My 2025 it’s not supported, I think not 2024 too.

The 3rd party add-in is the only permanent solution on newer models.
