We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

I can’t see the headlight switch when in the seat. I really don’t like the auto-rev when I let the clutch out from a stop. As mentioned below, I can’t keep the key fob in my pocket without setting off the panic alarm. Other than that, I love the thing.

Most annoying is the double honk if you leave the car running with the key in your pocket. Haven't found a way to disable it, but man is it annoying.
You should be able to ForScan out the double honk, unless you have a newer Bronco. I did that to my ‘22

Pre-25 you need forescan to turn off double honk, now an adjustable setting. But I agree, hated it in my ‘22 OBX. I have also disabled seat belt chime using the hack on this site but annoying seat display still appears for maybe 60 seconds. Would include ASS feature also. But far more things I love and have no regrets. Guess that’s why I got my second one……

Well said! The way I sit and being a heftier fellow at 245 pounds (promise, I'm a weight lifter), it's hard to always see the speedometer. I'd always have to bend the neck and look just below the top of steering wheel to see the readout. I purchased a HUD that projects speed onto the windshield and now I drive like a cool fighter pilot... but not as brave!

That’s actually a pretty slick setup.

Definitely giving off fighter pilot vibes — does it ever get distracting or pretty easy to adjust to?

Not having mechanical transfer case shift linkage. All the nannies that disable everything if a sensor doesn't like what it sees 🤠.

Yeah, the “nannies” can definitely get a bit overprotective.

Do you end up turning a lot of that off, or just deal with it?

How do you deal with the loss of lockers when a wheel sensor fails, gets blinded by dust/mud or the wiring gets ripped out by an oversized tire 🙄? Outside of wiring around it, you pretty much are stuck dealing with it the best you can as you limp back.

Electronic parking brake, size of key fob, heated wheel doesn't automatically come with the heated seats, electronic transfer case, steering wheel controls are on opposite sides from my car. 🤣

the nannies. the one that bugs me most is the parking brake. I'd much rather have an emergency brake.

That’s the trade-off with newer systems. When everything’s working, they’re great… but once a sensor goes, it can start taking capability away right when you need it most.

At that point you’re just trying to get it back out without making things worse.

The location of the window buttons took some getting used to. Not really an issue except when I occasionally hit the electronic parking brake in my wife’s BMW when I am trying to roll up the window. It’s a big surprise when you are at highway speed. 😀

People have already mentioned the electronic emergency brake. To me it's just a very minor irritation in daily operation. Still, I'd much rather have a positive visual indication that the brake is engaged even when the vehicle is turned off.

Also, having a manual emergency brake is something that could come in real handy, or even be a safety benefit, in unusual situations. Things like engaging or disengaging the brake with a dead battery, or being able to partially engage or disengage it.

I want those capabilities there in reserve just in case, particularly in remote areas or on the trail, like they've been in almost all of my other vehicles over my lifetime.
