Hi all, first time poster here, greatly enjoy this forum, and have become very interested in the Bronco.

Short version- What is the wind noise, buffeting like with the doors off but hard top still on, for both 2 and 4 door version?

Long version- I sold a couple of toys and I thought I was done with having an extra vehicle to tool around with, but my eye still wanders.
I presently have a 2017 4 Runner with 31,000 miles and a 93 F 150. The Bronco would be an addition to the other vehicles.

I've had two CJ7s back in the day and always enjoyed having the doors off, sometimes with the HT still on or a bikini top.

What's the ride like in the Bronco with the doors off and HT still on, both 2 and 4 door versions would be greatly appreciated. How's the wind and buffeting?

I would plan on taking the HT off later on, but that would reqiure help in the form of those lifts or ceiling lifts to help.

I'm leaning towards the 2025 Stroppe 2 door as well, but open to the 4 door with the right combo when it comes time to buy.

Thank you.

When I’m home during warmer weather I tend to run no doors and leave the top on.
It’s not bad and it’s not like being in a vehicle with a rear door window down, at lease on a 2 door

I have the doors and roof off as often as possible. I've left the roof on a few times with the doors off, but I prefer everything off. It's loud and windy. You'll be driving something with the aerodynamics of a pallet of cinder blocks, it's not designed so you can have a phone call at the same time. I love every minute of it.

I mean my wife and I have done 2hr trips in our 2dr with the doors off. Above 55 we use earplugs. It’s not much worse than the windows being down on the freeway tbh, just much more exposed!

I haven’t taken the back half of our 2 door off yet. In our 4dr soft top having the top in position 2 was so nice and usually brought in fresh air from behind us.

LOL - there's enough annoying wind noise with the roof/doors ON above 40 MPH - at least with the doors off, you have a great excuse.

Below 50 mph, it is awesome! Above that, it starts getting loud and breezy, but the joy of it completely justifies it, at least for hour or two junkets. It's a little like being on a motorcycle. Where ever you go, you feel more "there" rather than passing through.

Once driving 55-60 mph, I had to pull off in a center turn lane on a highway, dodging traffic to retrieve a most favorite baseball hat. I since acquired a summer hat with a chin strap. Not sure I'd dig driving across the country sans doors/roof, though.

Thank you, kind of how my CJs were.
