More specifically, are you doing anything to protect the bumper and lower grill trim from chaffing ...
I have mine between the bumper and trim and pushed back as far as possible, but I feel it can be better.

I ran mine behind winch it doesn’t touch the trim. Tie wrapped

I didn't use 1", I don't recall what I used but it fit tight. I also ran mine up along the front cornerbefore the wheel well. IT's pretty obvious area to use and runs right up along the battery

Here's where not to run it.... I didn't realize two of my winch mount bolts didn't engage the nuts in the back plate, they were tight , but just because they were jamed in between the plate, not in the actuall nut.... first try to pull a car stuck in ice and this happened.

Had the wiring up behind the grill and shutters... guess who no longer has working shutters and a cracked grill....

I broke my grill and shutters on my then new 2021 as well... Going across an icy stream 😔

Routed mine under the tray and in through the intercooler window

Can’t see it at all from the front - usually it’s all tucked under the cover, just pulled it out so you can see the routing. Doesn’t touch any painted trim
