Meanwhile...the Stroppe rebate ends today. I haven't found anything on the web saying FORD will extend it so I won't be surprised if they think we're dumb enough to not notice the price *increase* while vehicles are still sitting on lots in recall jail with willing buyers unable to lock in prices.

If they call me in a week and a half and say I can come get it, but it's $5,000.00 more than when I looked at it, I'm going to laugh at them and hang up.

Thanks for feedback. I had already scheduled dealer visit this am before I knew OTA was coming. Will go ahead and see what they say......

Update - Ford service advisor told me on check-in that recalls are never done OTA but in person. After checking, he confirmed this recall is being done OTA and mine was compete. He said they went ahead and verified so they could get paid by Ford - LOL. I signed up for Ford's EAP (early access program) and after participating in first survey it appears Ford is aggressively pushing OTA for as much as possible in the future. Makes sense as it keeps costs down, is quicker and already being done by computer and phone companies....

Yeah, however, my last update in early December I was told I needed to drop off as it may take 4 hours. I barely got home 45 minutes later, when they called to say they were done.

Now there's nothing showing for recalls with my VIN on the Ford site. Does that mean they got my particular vehicle done? It was on there last week.

Yeah pretty common. Writers don't always know how long a recall will take, so they tell you longer then it normally is just for scheduling reasons.

If it was done OTA, they can check the history. That's the only way to know.

Well just checked mine and it is affected as well. Good thing I know how to use my mirrors

I am still in a holding pattern with the dealer to take delivery on my 2025. Anyone here know if they pushed the fix to 2025s yet? https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/members/ducati1098.4930/ had some good information with status for each year a few days ago(letter to dealers) and just wondering - and getting anxious.

FWIW, if indeed Ford is working updates backwards from the newly minted '26s, ... as it seems they are doing ... my truck (shown as updated, as of today) is a late August '25 build date.

Interesting i guess ill give them a call when i get off and see if i can come pick it up today if it is cleared

My ‘25 also no longer shows a recall in the app or on Ford’s website. It won’t pull up on the NHSTA website, keeps giving me an error and points to Ford for information. It appears the recall OTA fix did come through to me, but I do not see any verification of that other then it no longer shows up.
