Yes, I tested with GY RTs and BFG KO2s. That was one of the things I was testing. It's not the tires.Do they both have the same tires? Tires would change road noise heard in the cab. I'm not familiar with the 2025 standard options.

There are two versions of the painted HT. Early versions have the same sound deadening headliner as the MIC. Later versions have a more refined interior with panels (this is the version that Rusty was referring to earlier as not being conducive for patches).I don't have the current painted top version. Mine looks like a painted version of the MIC with the "carpet" sound deadening material. The Hot Head panels work with my version of the painted top.
Maybe someone else can explain this better? Not sure what to call what I have?
Your hotheadliners are on a painted top? The website states:I have a 2025 OBX with the painted top. The top is an updated version of the original design, far better sealed than the MIC top on my 2023 Badlands. I don't get any wind noise getting through the seams. (It is not the most current design with the white inside)
But, I have made in much quieter with these headliner panels from Hot Head. I went with black, they just velcro to the factory sound deadening material. They look totally OEM.
Best $550 bucks I've spent on my Bronco. Highway driving is a pleasure now.

2 versions of the painted top, only one MIC top.Apparently there are 2 versions of the MIC. And his is "painted" but still MIC.....
Neither of those are "quiet" tires. They will put some amount of howl/hum into the cabin. Bridgestone Dueler H/T will be considerably quieter. Make sure to isolate tire noise from wind noise....or just take the top and doors completely off and know for sure all the noise is wind as you grin ear to ear driving one of the most fun trucks on the market.Yes, I tested with GY RTs and BFG KO2s. Please let me know how they work out for you.
Well, I am glad I gave it a shot. The headliner fits like a glove and there is definitely a reduction in noise. My best way of explaining it, is that I can listen to the radio anywhere from 1-3 notches lower than I could before. Please let me know how they work out for you.
Velcro sticks just fine.Oh no shit! The MIC has the the fuzzy side of velcro as the sound deadening material. The painted one has something much higher quality, but it didn't look like velcro could stick to it.
Thanks for the update and thrilled the Hot Head panels are cutting down the noise for you. I've been super happy with mine, two recent road-trips were very pleasant because the cabin was so much quieter.Worked like a charm. Glad I took the leap.

For others reading this thread. I believe what is going on here is the MOD hard tops have 2 manufactures and what you get depends on your trim level. What works is, if you have a MOD hard top and your interior is black, similar to the MIC tops and you have the sound deadening, then the hothead headliner fits your vehicle. This isn't officially supported by them, but the fit is perfect.
I just purchased a 2025 badlands, it has the white interior top, I’m hoping to reduce wind noise. Looking forward to what hot heads comes up for this. Has anyone tried sound deading the doors?

This is a bit off topic, but did they bring back the removable side windows for the "modular painted top"?
