Man, that bot retired.

Last I heard it’d moved in with Chat GPT, knocked her up, now they have twins and living in a trailer behind a warehouse down in Pensacola.

Yep….. :cautious:
Ha. Yeah. I screwed that up and could t find a way to edit. This place is great, but the UO can be clunky. CT

im still reading through the thread, but did you attempt a warranty repair? My dealer said it’s not covered. Curious how you resolved it- if you did. I’m very unhappy with this issue. https://bronco6g.com/forum/members/21911/ are you listening? This should not be an acceptable “wear and tear” issue on a 2 year old vehicle.
They did warranty it and replace it. They also replaced my top under warranty although they said they had to fight for me.

I have a good relationship with my dealer. I also have the extended warranty although I'm still under the original.

I have a little rip in mine too. It's right in the area my wallet sits, so maybe MGV isn't rated for someone of my fabulous wealth?

I always put my wallet in my L/F pants pocket, as a chiropractor recommended. Helped with some back issues and it would be a little harder to pick my pocket, plus you may not get that tear you have in your MGV.

After reading this thread, I checked my driver's seat and found the same issue. My original warranty has just expired(67000km), so I looked into coverage under the extended warranty — and was told it's not covered. Has anyone had success getting this covered under their extended warranty? This seems like a clear factory defect.

The side of my driver's seat is starting to tear. It has a couple rips.

I was a little hesitant about marine grade and vinyl when we first got it because I've never had it but people on the forum seem to think it was going to be very durable.

I have 23,000 mi on it in 2 years. Should this be happening? I've had Ford leather on every other car I've ever had and other than getting cracked after many many years I've never had tears in it. This is a 2021!

Is this something that would be covered by warranty? I hope so. I'm gonna need to stop by soon. I'm having an issue with my soft top too, it's rubbing on something and starting to cause an abrasion.

Love this truck but there are minor issues that keep popping up.

I started seeing some cracks on the driver's side vertical portion on my 2021 with 60k miles and now that I got electric steps/sliders, I don't find that I slide in and out of the seat like I used to, despite being 6' tall. I think a lot of that type of wear is caused by sliding in and out of the tall seat.

Mercedes MB tek lasts for decades with no issues it's just cheapest crap they can obtain.

No way around resolving unless find take off covers or buy questionable aftermarket.

No warrranty on that but you can buy the CN upholstry which is superior to the Ford stuff or go with overpriced poor quality Katzkins made in MX which may or may not fit so buy the install from Katzkins so they can deal with installers who will insist poor fir is normal and will fix itself as will Katzkins possibly.
