Ford Bronco Marine Vinyl Seat Stitching Separation IMG_1440

Has anyone had success getting a warranty claim approved for seat stitching separation under the bumper-to-bumper warranty? For reference, it’s a 2023 Badlands non-Sasquatch with marine vinyl seats, currently at 27k miles.

Yes, my '21 Badlands SAS driver's side seat separated on the left hand side of the seat. I was successful in getting my dealer to warranty the issue and it was replaced. I have had no issues since the replacement.

Happy to hear you had no problems. I have my dealer looking at it this weekend, got my fingers crossed it’s covered with no snags. Your post gives me hope!

[Update]

Sorry for the late update, had to push my appointment to this past Thursday since I didn’t realize the warranty techs don’t work weekends.

So, quick rundown: I went in on 10/2 and talked with the service advisor about the seat stitching coming apart, plus a couple of other things (rear defroster cable detached from the glass and both recall notices). They called me this morning 10/3 to say everything else was taken care of under warranty. The seat is also covered, but they’ll need to replace the whole cover, and it’ll take a few days for the part to come in.

They set me up with a Ford rental from Enterprise for the day, but since the seat isn’t a safety issue, we agreed it made more sense for me to take my Bronco back and just return once the new cover arrives.

Sorry if this post seems all over the place, just wanted to share my first warranty claim experience for anyone who hasn’t gone through it yet.
