Replacement hood suggestions for a '23 Bronco

Got caught in a hail storm the other day and couldn't make it to cover in time. Estimate from PDR shop says 150-200 dents on hood which would cost $1100. ($2450 for the entire vehicle ) Wondering if it would be better to just look for a new hood or financially the PDR would be cheaper. New to all of this and feeling super overwhelmed.

A new hood would need paint and clear. Probably not less expensive than PDR,

I hear fiberglass holds up better to hail damage and some come pre painted, but I have no real knowledge…I do like Some of the options and would probably go aftermarket if it was me…

I’ve not seen the cowl hood yet and I think I like it…

I also found this other website if you like to go the extra step to mod your hood. It is t cheap but could help with future hail damage.

With paint, install and everything, I'd expect it to be about the cost of doing the whole car. Maybe if you find a used one or junkyard one in the same color and good shape?
