I installed the Perimeter Plus alarm on my Bronco, and I get the notifications in the app when the alarm goes off. When this happens, is it possible to dismiss the alarm through the app (from locking/unlocking the vehicle)? There are times when I'm confident the vehicle isn't actually in danger, and I'm not in a position to go out and use the fob to stop the alarm.

Most of the time when I get these the alarm has gone off for some reason... The times I've set it off by accident in the driveway have just involved one beep of the horn alerting me to stop as opposed to continuous beeping (like when a close thunder blast hits it). I haven't found a way to disengage with the app, but suspect most of the alerts are of the 1 beep variety, so I don't really worry about it. If you haven't noticed, the LED flashes continuously if the alarm has activated while you are gone.

I thought FordPass app stopped the alerts when the alarm goes off? I’ve had the perimeter plus alarm installed on my 2021 and now on my 2025. It does not alert me in the app.

most of the time my alarm goes off when a motorcycle or big truck drives past. I have asked the dealer to make it less sensitive, but they have not. I will just do it myself one day.

As for your question, whenever it goes off, 99% of the time, locking the doors through the app turns off the alarm. Occasionally it just ignores the app. Also, I will get message about the alarm going off in the Ford app about 1 out of a 100 times. Don't know why that is.
