If I was on the fence about going with the 2.3 vs the 2.7, what is the downside of getting the 2.3 plus this device? Seems like it would save over $2000.
You have to run premium fuel - it isn't an option with the tune. I think using local prices the v6 was cheaper after something like 40k miles of running 87.

I just hope that someday there is a tune for us 2026 (2025+) 2.3L manual trans in California (not sure if tune is different for manual vs auto). I hope this happens before I turn 100.

There will be, Ford just came out witht he MPC motor so this platform will be around for awhile. They are waiting right now for the CARB legal kit, it is testing with CARB as we speak for the 2025 Cali cars.

There will be, Ford just came out witht he MPC motor so this platform will be around for awhile. They are waiting right now for the CARB legal kit, it is testing with CARB as we speak for the 2025 Cali cars.
Once the tune hit for MY22, the MY23 tune was available in January of the following year - since there were no significant changes to the power train, ECM and/or control tech.

Does anyone know if the DIY buying from Lethal Performance (a certified FORD reseller) allow for the same warranty acceptance as if done by local Ford Dealer? I have extended warranty.

I saw this from the Ford Authority post " the kit comes with the Ford Racing Parts three-year, 36k-mile warranty from new vehicle in-service date, so long as it's installed by a Ford dealer or ASE/Red Seal-certified technician."

I'm thinking no due to the "installed" key word.

So I guess I should get it from done a local dealer then and pay the extra $100? or whatever they charge. To avoid any possible future warranty denial BS.

Installed is indeed the key word. Where you purchase it doesn’t matter. Who loads it onto your vehicle does.

I believe I waited about 6 months for my CA legal after the rest of the world with my 2022. Worth waiting.

Just ordered mine. This was #1 on my mod list when I ordered my Bronco.

It's unfortunate that Ford only gives you the 6 cylinder if u get 2 pedals. Hoping this will wake up the 2.3!

Hello all, the part number listed M-9603-B23A doesn't show it's compatible with 2025 Broncos on Ford's website.
M-9603-B23A -> 25
M-9603-B23 -> all previous years
Ford may not have updated this yet, but Ford Racing has

Good decision. The 10R80 with manual shifter control is superior to MT in all regards on both manual and AT modes with more gears and faster shifting.

The user engagement and entertainment experience of the MT is superior though......dont miśs it at all.
