Anyone else notice on headlight adjustment that the factory setting was low? It has much better lighting output now and went to laser level at 25’ and with the 1” up front are perfect

Are these digressive or progressive valved?
https://ridefox.com/products/ford-bronco-2-5-performance-series
FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on shock loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion. The 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping. The 2.5-inch HTO shocks for the Ford Bronco reuses the existing OE spring.

Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed; HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and applications lifted higher than OEM specification.

Bolt-on 2.5 Performance Series HTO shocks to increase damping capacity and ride in comfort with position-sensitive rebound control.

I'm somewhat confused I ordered them because Fox tech line confirmed 0+ lift on OBX stock springs, but posters are stating 1+ lift at lowest setting.....can some one help clarify please?

I can maybe take 1/2" lift before I have issues with underground and many grade parking height restrictions...,

Can only speak for the 4x4 shop that did mine. They used the measurements on the directions and said it came out way high. Although some say these are easy to adjust on the rig, they found it not possible and had to remove them off the rig. Next they adjusted for what fox said would lower it and was still to high. Again they had to remove, adjust and replaced. 3rd time it was spot on.
In short they said was a pain in the ass to adjust. Personally I think other shops just gave up trying.
I would like to see video of how others adjust on the rig.
Personally after thinking about it I would probably go another direction once these go
Got an email response from Eibach that there new 2.5s will be coming out spring 2026. Probably going to wait for these and then compare options. Have 6112s now and they are awesome for handling but ride pretty stiff.

The faster you go the better Bilstein get the slower the worse the ride....I had to junk 18 mth old B6 on my Mustang because the low speed ride quality degraded and was unbearable.

Well, got em in finally. Went up 1” up front and 1/2” back. Still have 1/2” lean that I wanted
Only got 20 miles on it but so far it’s good.
A trusted off road speciality shop did the installation and said they are not adjustable on the rig and had to pull them 3 times to dial it in

I just had these installed on my 2021. There is a terrible clunking noise coming from them. More on one than the others but every bump sounds like things are loose. We check all the bolts and nothing loose so I am wondering about the heim joint style lower mounts of the shocks. I did a google search and found out that there have been other concerns about the noise. Some people said it diminished a little over time. Did you have any clunking noise on yours when first mounted.

No, mine were good. Sounds like maybe they are loose. The bottom rear torque is 350lb. May want to ask how they did it because around me, not many had a wrench that went that high

Are you saying that you pointed your headlights level?

No, that they were low from the factory. I followed procedure to aim headlights and took it to a spot I know is 100% level at 25’. Measure center of light to ground, put tape on the wall and aim below the tape.
after leveling they did not need aiming adjustment as it was spot on and confirmed with a laser level.

aka was low from the factory.
anyway tip for aiming. Not all flat surfaces are level as most are pitched for drainage

No worries and thanks! Mine were pretty close to the lowest setting right out of the box, but the shop backed them off a bit more to get as close to factory preload as possible while still keeping some tension on the spring. That said, with the OEM Sasquatch springs, you really can’t go much lower — the springs are tall and stiff, so even at the lowest setting, I still ended up with about 1.75" of lift up front and 1.25" in the rear. What’s really nice about this setup is how easy it is to make adjustments later on — whether you want more height or decide to run larger tires.

Is that amount of lift over the regular Sasquatch height?

I ordered Fox 2.5 to use with my OBX springs called FoX and they said 1/2" lift max ....then I found complete HOSS2 and cancelled the Fox 2.5.
