Same here. First one I have seen that does not look FUGLY but man, $3.5k + labor is a lot of coin to drop on something I have not needed in 15 years and, given my driving style and where I usually drive, will likely never need.

If you’re looking for a hidden winch that uses the stock modular bumper. The Hammer Built Hidden Winch is the one. I like that it doesn’t hang low or replaces the stock skid plate. Also it doesn’t interfere with the Oil cooler. It tucks up high and no worries of smashing it on a rock. Im totally pleased with it so far.

where does the ACC sensor get moved to?

It gets relocated next to the high mount inner cooler. It doesn’t work as good though after i moved it. So just beware if you do a high mount inner cooler.

It is a big investment. I had the Rough Country winch setup for 2 years. I didn’t like it mounted in front of the bumper. Was looking at all the other hidden options out there and didn’t like how you had to move the Oil cooler. Until this came out. I knew this was the one. It is pretty straightforward install and didn’t have to touch the Oil cooler. Thats why i went with this one.

OP, a very nice set-up indeed. As an alternative for the Braptor, I'm working on a front receiver hitch that can accept my Warn carrier as an option instead of having to move sensors, mess with coolers, etc. I've done it this way on a few F150s and JKs over the years. I like that set-up as the winch is rarely used and can be mounted as needed and carried in whatever vehicle I'm wheelin' in. I'll report back when I get it sorted.

Really loving this, but it would have to be near the bottom of my list of things to get. IT is one of the things that its nice to have and not a need to have, but damn, its really nice

You need to move the wiring up into the engine bay.

Just installed. EZ install. The high-mount Wagner intercooler hoses are ‘multi-fit’ for 2.3L & 2.7L; they require some cutting to fit the 2.3 and

don’t fit as cleanly as I expected. Consider the Mishimoto IC.

My winch controls are mounted to the battery box in the engine bay (warm/dry/high). I deleted my shutters 2 years ago.
