White or Black Tire lettering out?

I can tell you, I had white letters on my old CJ-7 and they were a PAIN to keep clean. I ended up throwing a Clorox pen in my Car Wash kit to carefully re-whiten each letter after cleaning the tire.

Yep. I had white letters on an old GMC Jimmy. A nudge to keep clean. Did not mind the look, but I've stayed black since.

I didn’t realize one side is white and Discount tire didn’t ask me my preference- they just did the black lettering facing out. I wish I would’ve known because I like the white better.

Really depends what look you’re going for and what color the body is. My Cactus Grey has black diamond grille, with MIC fenders and side mirrors so I don’t have any other white on the vehicle- so I would like the white on the tires to add some contrast. (That pic above is the best side profile shot I had- before I changed the grille)

Since I haven't bought tires with white lettering, I have mine mounted with the date code out so I can read it more easily.

I like the white letters out myself. Will most likely choose this option when I need to replace the stock tires.

Bfg white letters go the full depth of tire. The cleaner I use and a brush gets them looking brand new pretty easily

I have KM3s on my old TJ. Lettering got so chucked out after a few trips to Windrock and Stoney I've flipped them back. The white just made the gashes more noticeable.
