I like black walls out, but if you’re really going all out for the retro look put the white letters out. All personal preference you’re gonna get opinions both ways.

Holding up just fine. They need a cleaning/scrubbing. I never put that shiny shit on tires. Clean black tires on an off road vehicle looks infinitely better than shiny, gloss tires on an off road vehicle.

Either way could work, but photoshop the letters on tires to white to see.

Like I said earlier, they are holding up just fine. A little dirty after last week's off-road ventures. They need a good scrubbing. I'm just too lazy.

Anyone that opts for the X3's and doesn't get the signature red letters is crazy. There is no mistaking them from a distance. Rollers are infinitely cooler than plain black sidewalls.

I can tell you, I had white letters on my old CJ-7 and they were a PAIN to keep clean. I ended up throwing a Clorox pen in my Car Wash kit to carefully re-whiten each letter after cleaning the tire.

I didn’t realize one side is white and Discount tire didn’t ask me my preference- they just did the black lettering facing out. I wish I would’ve known because I like the white better.

Really depends what look you’re going for and what color the body is. My Cactus Grey has black diamond grille, with MIC fenders and side mirrors so I don’t have any other white on the vehicle- so I would like the white on the tires to add some contrast. (That pic above is the best side profile shot I had- before I changed the grille)
