Also-quin’s latest explanation for the failures was that they were sold counterfeit loctite.
I wish I was kidding. Homeboy literally said that.
Maybe the discount is to pay for all the machine work you’ll be doing on your own to fix their fuckups…@SierraBronco at this point I pretty sure you are abusing your portals. According to the 74Weld literature you can't use tires, only stands.
Acceptable stands for custom cars

I owe you for convincing me that portals are a bad idea.Maybe the discount is to pay for all the machine work you’ll be doing on your own to fix their fuckups…![]()
I have nothing to gain or lose by sharing reality. I think some people are hit way too hard by $20k and feel they can’t say anything that might make it look like they made a costly mistake.I owe you for convincing me that portals are a bad idea.
When you can select which tires to air up it’s pretty rad, especially for IFS rigs. The guy with the portal Lexus would occasionally air up/down a specific tire to make up for running out of articulation. Was pretty cool to watch once he pointed it out.Saw this earlier. I don't think I would jump on the CTI. Risk/reward just doesn't interest me . Cool novelty, but meh.... They are smart though going to a consistent housing.
Yeah, but it would suck if you were behind them waiting. When you can select which tires to air up it’s pretty rad, especially for IFS rigs. The guy with the portal Lexus would occasionally air up/down a specific tire to make up for running out of articulation. Was pretty cool to watch.

Alternative being waiting on them trying over and over and lining up to hit it again then winching out.Yeah, but it would suck if you were behind them waiting.![]()
When I was at Trail Hero in 2022, was in line for Plan B when one of the BFG reps pulled up in their rock crawling Jeep. He was still sitting in the drivers seat and started airing down....I was like what... He Said it was a new system that BFG was working on, had individual wheel valves similar to a Hummer. Dont know what ever happened to it, but it was pretty nice system.Alternative being waiting on them trying over and over and lining up to hit it again then winching out.
With whatever compressor he had I wouldn’t have known if he didn’t tell me. Throw 10-12 pounds in one tire or air it down. Then he could just keep moving. All from the cab. It was pretty damn impressive.
