No wonder we see Jeeps flying off the lots. Many realizing their Bronco order won't materialize any time soon. Not saying jeeps are better just ppl getting fed up and some really need to drive something
I thought I read Jeep sold the most Wranglers ever last quarter, I'll bet they continue to sell them as fast as they can make them this quarter.

Ford will sell Broncos just as fast as they can build them too, just about that...

Bingo. Those with a produced, but bad batch bronco will be waiting much longer than others on the line now and in the future with a shot at passing QC.
I've read many times on Blue Oval over the years that this is like being at the front of the line and OK to buy takes a long time coming. Your vehicle goes to a lot and those on the line ship before they get around to dealing with those on the lot.

Of all those Broncos I see there, I can only spot a single one with a soft top. :-/
I wonder if that’s mine. I have a 4dr OBX soft top thats been in the purgatory lot since 7/19. No flipping idea why and when it will see a transport!

What's interesting is that my dealer convinced me early on to get the MOD top. As if he knew there was something fishy going on with the MIC tops. He called me to ask if I wanted to change my order. I did. This was at the end of Feb or early March.

Sad, but I'm contemplating either re-ordering with a soft top or going Wrangler 4Xe. With the way these are accumulating on the lot with seemingly no solution to get them anywhere, it might be possible you could order a soft top with the same options and get it sooner. I dunno maybe not, but the car I was so excited about is now all of the sudden a bummer/downer for me.

And yeah, it's a bit of an exaggeration, but full gasser cars within the next 10 years who knows could be a usage tax, gov could jack up the price of gas to move manufacturers towards hybrid/electric etc. These Broncos with less than great gas mileage and full gas consumption could be long in the tooth before even reaching the market. For no other reason than the delay and Ford being shady, the situation just has me rethinking the Bronco all together

The mod top is what you want IMO. The MIC isn't less than 1/3 the price of the mod because it's a high quality top. Unavailable mod top started the downward spiral for me. The MIC issues and more delays finally killed it for me.

That's why I was so dead set on a mod top. The MIC is a low quality option. Just enough to get the job done.
In my view - Mod is the same construction as MIC, but with a smooth paintable outer surface and more openings to eventually develop wind and water leaks.

Maybe, the thin molded in layer is the lamination problem and that won’t happen on the smooth one. We don’t know.

People posting their "built" emails today on the 8/2 and 8/9 threads. 😂
Oh, fair enough.. I was hoping it was deliveries..
Unless it’s delivered I don’t think it counts.. There’s a lot of people on here with Built Bronco’s sitting gathering dust.

Maybe you'll luck out, and they'll push your return to office out. Delta appears to be running rampant here in Kentucky, and I'm sure it's headed North.
Keep that sh!t down there! I swear if my vaca at the end of the month to Michigan gets torpedoed because of a mask mandate my wife is going to keel.......... everyone.

More from those in the know:
"New tooling at Webasto was needed. Replacement tops are set to begin in Sept."
So are you saying Webasto isn’t fired?? That would be a huge backflip from Ford
