I just heard from my dealership, they told me that my Bronco is expected to be delivered between Aug 14 and Aug 20 but that may change. I was also told that the safety inspection that's completed before the sale can be processed will take 5 to 7 DAYS!

The dealership has been great to work worth so far. I really hope there some sort of misunderstanding happening right now.

Has anyone heard anything close to that amount of time to turn over their vehicle? I was under the impression that it would take several hours.

I would be stalking that dealership for the truck coming in w your Bronco. And I would take it home that day. I wouldn't want them putting their badges on it either. Bring the money and sign away. That "inspection" is total BS.

Either they already know about some sort of damage they need to fix, they are going to use it as a demo, or the GM wants to take it home for the weekend before they clean it up for you.

Mine came off the truck at 9:30am yesterday and I was driving it home around 5pm.

If this was required by law. I would want every mile documented and I would want proof of liability/insurance to cover any loss of use as well.

The PDI on my Bronco Badlands Squatch took just a few hours. They received it 10am and it was ready to go that afternoon.

It’s a funny thing a lot of people can remember one of the business that works at F***ing them over. I wish there was a thread on this forum that would list the dealers that are extremely dishonest and misleading by name. But sadly I don’t think that will happen. Just as there are dealership that have taken large amounts of money for a deposit and now there are these problems and they refused to refund the deposit back to the customers.

That's crazy some won't refund deposits - a cancelled order means huge guaranteed ADM - they should be delighted to refund measly deposit -

What happened to the rule that Ford put in place about res holders not converting their orders and losing allocations for 2022???
