You don’t have to secure financing.I don’t understand how they were able to do this. I thought when you placed an order it was your car until you declined it. We haven’t ordered one but I read the info on Ford.com and assumed because you had to secure financing that you had a purchase agreement. Would definitely contact Ford though.
In reality, it is hard to force somebody to sell you something that they don't want to.If a dealer said they would charge MSRP in an email prior to your order being placed, is that enough to hold them to it when you pick up your vehicle?
But of course how these things play out in reality is often different from what a text book says should happen.
No clue If she’s a member. I just seen it on bronco 6th Gen fb group.@Monster1926 do you have a link the the original FB post. Do you know if the buyer is a member here?
I'm a social media noob, how does one do this?So everyone I mean everyone. Go tweet at Jim Farley and mike Levine and Ford. The more pub it gets, the more they have to answer.
Also, EVERYONE go leave a negative google review for that dealer. Hurt them where it counts most, reputation.
They said no ADMs (but that was on the phone). Would I request a purchase agreement W/ no VIN?One of the big if’s is add on’s or lack there of? If you don’t want any surprises everything has to be in writing get the bottom line.

ThisThe original reservation owner should send the text string to Mike Levine and Jim Farley on their Twitter accounts.
Okay. Early on in our Texas Group Buy negotiations I talked to the managing partner of this dealership and he came off as a true car enthusiast. I sent him an email making him aware of this situation and advising they correct course. I sure am glad our group went in a direction. She’s not a member on the forum.
I agree and I don’t. I like haggling price. And check another box in the why the new car dealer business model is archaic and long overdue to die. 100% not needed in this day in age. The dinosaur needs to go extinct.
Go with a witness in person.Speaking of signed written purchase agreements. I texted my order to my salesman and he submitted the order. It hasn’t begun production or anything yet but he did send me an invoice that breaks down my order. The same ones I’ve seen posted on this forum. Now it does say this is not an invoice but it has the line for a signature. Should I A) Go Down and ask to sign it B) Sign it on my iPad Pro and mail it back to him. Or C) This is normal and you don’t go down and sign anything until the order moves onto the next stage? I’m not clear on the process once you decide on your final build.
