Yeah, what's going on with roof racks on Sasquatch ?? - sounds familiar -

Is Ford saying we can't put roof racks on a Sasquatch Bronco ??
How the heck does that make any sense ??
What does Sasquatch have to do with ROOF RACKS ???

Others have hypothesized that its about weight, with the higher-optioned Sasquatch models pushing the capacity numbers up. You can find threads on that here. It has been said, you can add the rack later.

I'm not going to speculate but it seems like the majority of the issues are with the cap, not the roof panels. Can anyone check me on this?

No gelcoat on a MIC, its molded in.

And PremierDrum received a brand new Bronco that he was completely happy with. For about 3 weeks, and then the roof started to go to shit on him.

I’d take my bronco RIGHT NOW and wait for a new top for a couple years. There will be aftermarket soft tops I could buy. I’ve had a vin since April, so changing to a soft top now is not an option for me.

I tried not to add my opinion (you know what they say) but after reading 35 pages I have to say that thinking this is the OPs fault because they put some Waxish/protectant on the MIC is Ludacris.

Now if we found out they use paint thinner or some sort of harsh chemical, then maybe... But that isn't the case.

This is clearly a manufacturing problem And I really hope the OP is able to get it fixed. But I see some sort of class action coming IF Ford tries to refuse warranty work because this is cosmetic only. I'm pretty sure it's well documented that the MIC tops are messed up.

Personally my concern is that I'd have to leave the Top all F'ck up like that for a year without trying to take matters into my own hand and fix it (and thus voiding the warranty).

Maybe some plasti dip... People have painted their entire cars in that junk... And you can peel it off later when you finally get your new top a year from now.
