Dealership is fantastic, its the parts that are provided by Ford are hit and miss. Hopefully it works out really like my ride.

I just had my top replaced for the second time. The first time it was leaking water by the rear windows. This time I had the cracking around the rear windows. The second top was only 7 months old when the cracking showed up.

Same here almost the same time frame from last replacement. It has started to feel really bumpy around the cracked areas and it seems like its holding moisture underneath.

It's only a matter of time until a class action gets filed for the MIC top fiasco. Not enough out there yet to be out of warranty but it's nearing that point where a lot of owners will be getting angry when the tops fail just outside warranty.
You are probably right. I got mine in 2022....so far so good. A little light snake skin effect but most would not see it. No cracking but not a lot of miles either. I plan to keep mine for 15-20+ years. The way some of these crack and fall apart...I just don't have the confidence that the top will last. It should have been built to last 30+ years!!!!

So you call Ford directly, not through the dealership? I'm fed up with my dealership (no communication). If I have to do this again I will use another.
It will take more effort from you but going through Ford Customer Relations will get you further in the long run. Even with a great dealership their hands are still tied on certain things.

“DM uS yOuR vIn So We CaN hElP…” 🙄

Save your time and just call your local dealership for an appointment.
Better to have a case number prior to contacting dealer..…..seems to help things get started faster

Something happened with one of my side windows during the top replacement and it sounds like they are ordering another window. I hope I get it back before I'm supposed to take it on the vacation I've been postponing for work, but I doubt it (and it's been 2 months this week). My only other Ford was a 1969 Mustang convertible that I restored in high school and eventually sold. So much for nostalgia.
