The revolutions of the tires affect the speedo I know. But I figured the mpg was based on engine data that doesn't change with tire diameter.

I'm no expert though.

What was your thoughts in Eco mode? My Raptor just seem to really retard the throttle and slow roll until you really put your foot down. Assuming the Bronco is the same...
I was driving 65mph highways behind an RV. Not much need for the throttle lol.

Thanks for posting. Any issues yet with the 33’s rubbing under certain conditions?
Not yet. I've not gone offroad, but on road has been fine.

under the system page in the infotainment system is there a provision for recalibrating for tire size changes? it seems like there should be something there, whether it is a dealership function may be a problem. but now we have electronic speedometers so unlike back in the day, when we would change a speedometer drive gear, this is all program.

Thanks for sharing this!

I was actually curious how Eco mode drove. Sounds like it definitely helped with the MPG, but how was the performance while driving?

Usually this can only be done through Forscan or if you have a tune the tuner box will let you recalibrate for larger tires. I have a Livernois tune and did it there and it also lets you recalibrate for gearing too.

my thought would be with such a platform which is obviously targeting an enthusiast market which are likely to do wheel and tire changes, it would be a welcome accessory to be preprogrammed in, or just simply using GPS based speed calibrations... my fiat has a gps based speedometer application, and was wondering if the bronco had the same...

Interesting tidbit: O'Reilly didn't have the Bronco in its system, and I've been too lazy to search the manual for the proper oil filter size and type. Guess I'll visit the local Ford dealer tomorrow.

I'm curious on this too, MY F-150 with the 2.7l uses the Motorcraft FL2062 filter and 5W-30 oil. Would be surprised if they used a different part...? Here's a link to the process and what is needed for an F-150. I would think most of it will be similar... https://www.f150forum.com/f118/2-7-l-oil-change-299089/

I could see that affecting MPH but not do much mpg.
Actually it effects mpg more then you would expect. It’s why Jeeps have aftermarket tuners. Before I put the tuner to my previous Jk on 37’s and adjusted the tire size I was getting around 10mpg on the computer once I made the change I was backup to 14 around town 16 on the highway.

I'm no expert though.
The computer (nowadays) calculates distance traveled based on the given diameter of the tires and the measured number of revolutions they turn. That's the 'miles part in each of mph and mpg. Someone mentioned a GPS system, but having seen them lag hard in dashcam applications I don't particularly trust them.
