Satellite antenna location

anyone know where the satellite antenna is located since we have a removable top?

It’s the puck on the rear roll bar. Driver’s side.

That means the signal can go through the different tops no problem.
I guess most cars have a metal roof and so it needs to be on the outside of that.

Correct.

Sat antenna is mounted to the roll bar on the wrangler as well.

From my experience is works very well. In fact, I relocated my sat antenna to the front cowl of my Jeep out in the open, but sometimes in the shadow of my windshield frame, and the performance was noticeably decreased.
