I'm 7-13-2020 10:49pm as well. What a cluster that night was. I'd gotten in twice earlier than 10:49 only to hit a brick wall at the $100 deposit entry.

This remains Ford's biggest unforced error...as server capacity is easily increased for temp peaks.

The marketing gold is in the ability to say, "Demand was so strong it crashed our servers!!!"
I'm convinced it was intentional to let them overload.

EDIT : As I recall, I got through around 9:30 PM Central.

I kinda think they flubbed it intentionally...just for the bragging rights that accrued next day. Small sample size...but I wound up #12 out of my dealer's 300+ reservations, so reservations might not have peaked till the wee hours that night.

This is almost exactly what I was told. Except the word "may" was used instead of "will". Now I'm thinking, all things being equal, they will favor an order who says they must have it.

I have a time stamp of 7/13 8:05PM EST, the dealer seems to think I’ll get mine relatively early even though I have 2.7, SAS, Leather..etc in my build.

Personally I set a expectation of August for delivery, so anything before will be a cherry on top. Later and I’ll be reallllly anxious.

I have to assume they’ll run out of SAS parts first.

I thought this as well given the canned "Whoa! Were experiencing a stampede!" bullshit they were posting on Twitter that night. Maybe they intended to do that and underestimated how it would serve as a sore spot 8+ months later.

No, the local dealer I expected to do a good job ...did (a good job). Really happy about that, but I also wish I had the oppurtunity to meet Chrispy.

I had heard rumors that they(my dealer) were looking hard at MSRP , but they came off of that for me.
So, for a while , I was considering reaching out to Chrispy to order and just to meet the man.
Maybe at a Bronco event!!

Same here. I ended up getting through at 10:18.
Who would have thought that sitting around hitting refresh frantically that night would have such an impact 6-7 months later.

I can’t find it, but I messaged that my dealer said everything but base and big bend will be delayed, and a lot of people “reacted” haha...

why is that funny?

because I think the Outer Banks seems like a better deal than a Big Bend with Mid, but don’t want to order an Outer Banks and have it delayed when I would have the base or big bend by then..

because I think the Outer Banks seems like a better deal than a Big Bend with Mid, but don’t want to order an Outer Banks and have it delayed when I would have the base or big bend by then..

i can deal with the roast, its just the combo with the silver dash that drives me nuts. I absolutely love the Badlands trim. Has everything i want as far as aesthetics. I'm just trying to get the biggest return on the big items with keeping cost down. If Outer banks had a all black interior, this conversation wouldn't be happening. lol.

Funny because your dealer is making stuff up. Just because they won't have enough parts to make 60K WIldtraks doesn't mean that they can't build 40K of them.
