This is true. I originally reserved the Wildtrak, thought about OBX, but the wheels and tires are so ugly. I have nice big KO2s on my truck. I do not want to go back to street tires, so I'm sticking with Wildrak. When you factor in the upgrades on the OBX, it eventually costs the same or more to upgrade the OBX to the way you want it.Just offering 33s on OBX would help. Pricing is pushing people to Wildtrak. I've had some that OBX is what they want, but switch to Badlands to get 33s, then see they can get Wildtrak for the same money. If 33s were optional on OBX they'd order that.
My order is currently what I want. But, they could get me to order extras (ie: extra tops)Most definitely. The Sasquatch package relies on multiple suppliers and is part of the 7000 FEs and all the Wildtraks. My guess is that the tires will be the biggest hang-up.
Order whatever you want. You'll regret not getting it your way and the delay will be forgotten within the first mile of driving!
It’s 7000 FE totalIIRC there are 14,000 FEs to build between the two models, all of which really really should be MY21 and come with Sasquatch. I could see that pushing production of non-FE Sasquatches. A question here though is Badlands on the late availability list? Isn't the suspension almost exactly the same as the Sasquatch? So what makes Sasquatch late availability but not Badlands? One person suggested tires- is there anything else?
I'm 7-13-2020 10:49pm as well. What a cluster that night was. I'd gotten in twice earlier than 10:49 only to hit a brick wall at the $100 deposit entry. Finally got through at 10:49est
I dont disagree with you but database capacity is not as easily expanded depending on the architecture they used.I'm 7-13-2020 10:49pm as well. What a cluster that night was. I'd gotten in twice earlier than 10:49 only to hit a brick wall at the $100 deposit entry.
This remains Ford's biggest unforced error...as server capacity is easily increased for temp peaks.
I have the same build but with Sasquatch. I have a 7/13 reservation and a Build Priority code of 10. I’m not sure that we can place a whole lot of faith in the Priority Code putting you at the front of the line necessarily. Well, we’re ahead of the 99’s.I got the v6 non squatch black diamond with mid pakage and got a build code of 19 which means build wright away according to some people on hear it’s also a 2 door July 14 res
Prolly wouldn't complain if one of them fivepointOHHHHS made it to the Bronco line right around the time that AMB manual base Base was rolling down the assembly line.Even a slight reduction on the F-150 side would be massive for the Bronco production numbers. F-150 has other engines they can drop in too. Not sure if they would even look at it that way, but I do.
Ohhhh okay thanksIt’s 7000 FE total
I think it will be the otherway around...."The Squatch will delay your order until Nov, would you like to go non-Squatch instead?"Is there a point, in May?, where the dealer can say "Based on your timestamp, there will definitely be enough inventory that you can order the following things without causing delay". ? If so, at that moment, is it a faith issue with the dealer that what they are saying is accurate and not just trying to upsell? I am avoiding limited available things because I'm not clear on what kind of delay could come from an add-on. The dealer would likely increase the sale with me by being able to provide a list based on my timestamp. Kinda like a last minute impulse add-on which I am susceptible toI'm thinking there are a portion of July 13 res holders that can get whatever they want...
I kinda think they flubbed it intentionally...just for the bragging rights that accrued next day. Small sample size...but I wound up #12 out of my dealer's 300+ reservations, so reservations might not have peaked till the wee hours that night.they did get waaaayyyy more demand than I thought at the time.
