Hey, Renzo1321

Not sure what we're trying to change you away from.....

Presumably a 2-door, based on the photo on your post, but are you ordering 2.3 or 2.7?
2 Door a must for me. Going with 2.3 and adding roof rack. plus SAS of course.

You are convinced that they'll take $1600 off the price of Squatch price next year if you opt for the manual?
$1600 ($1595) is the current cost of the automatic transmission (which goes away when selecting the manual), has zero to do with Sasquatch cost. Hopefully this clears up any confusion you might have had.

Also testing of the transmission and extra parts to take sas for the manual will push it to summer or fall of ‘22. IMO.
I don't buy into that too much....the manual has always been available on the Bad Lands, which IS Squatch for all intents and purposes.
Same with offering it with Mid in other trims, like Black Diamond would have been a nice bone to throw us.

I won't talk you out of it, id say get while you can and run. I've said many times base 2 door is intentionally under priced, I am honestly shocked they offered sas with it at all. Get em while you can if thats what you want bc I wouldnt be shocked if the base prices jumps significantly and sas goes way up

I was looking at 2.7 auto:
Black Diamond with adv 4x4 @ 42k
Big Bend with rear locker @ 40k
Basesquatch @ 40k

Basesquatch gives you the front locker and bigger tires/ nicer wheels.
Go BD if you want the MGV interior.

Sure, you get a Mansquatch a few months later (don't forget delayed already, even with the automatic), even if the base price increases, you get that back in higher MY22 resale later, for a few months of use, might even come out ahead

The Base is a marketing unicorn that will always be priced competitive with the lower end of the Jeep family. Squatch is a different matter.

Gonna wait it out, I see. (edit, shoot some how read Mansquatch into that ....anyways)

I'm tired of waiting. When ever I get option or trim level happy, I remind myself that all I ever wanted was a "modernized" version of my 69....(which WILL have heated seats LOL) .... so that squares me back up for the base.
If I go baseBase, I get to keep the manual and look forward to teaching my daughter to drive it as she will get her permit in a few weeks!!!!
and I can add the seat heaters for about 300, lol!

Wrong. For 2021 builds, Automatic is part of the Squatch package. In the summary the cost of the automatic is $0 if you selected Squatch. Hope this clears up your confusion...

That is true. The badlands manual already has the 4.7. I’m just curious if the manual can handle the extra dynamic load of the Sasquatch wheels/tires. (rolling resistance) I know it can handle it but if Ford needs to do anything to stay within their margins/ratings.

Base Squatch will be awesome. My original plan. Changed to Badlands when basemansquatch went to MY22. Decided we would use it to take our trips out west so added mid for comfort. If just riding around town, basesquatch for sure. As many have pointed out, it’s a great deal for what you get.

Alright guys, this is it. Tomorrow I submit my reservation for my Base Sas Bronco. I’m all ready to go and know what I want BUT...

Can one of you change my mind?
What is a better build?

My thing is that I want to stay below 40,000. (Never spending over 40k ever again, not worth it)

Note: Picture below is a 2 Door Badlands I saw in Orlando a few weeks back. The car is gorgeous. The perfect size!
