Ok. I’m livid over GVWR issues. How much money am I supposed to spend/waste to drop down in trim and build up all for the purpose of weight savings. I know I won’t recoup this...

Here’s the question - OBX 2.7l option to get higher gearing for purpose of bigger tires is 795. I’m now seeing if you want automatic 4wd that’s another 495 vs part time 4wd. Do we NEED to spend the 495 on top of the 795? BnP it’s clear depending the sequence of what you select first. Additionally, what are the differences?

thanks.

A4WD is $795, but selecting it also requires the 4.27 locking real axle for another $795. You can get the 4.27 gearing with the rear locker without getting A4WD if you wanted.

Ok thanks. So 795 vs 1590. 795 still is orderable. Although matching BL content , losing another 795 for auto 4wd to avoid BL for weight issues.

Jesus. We will be paying a good price per pound for decontenting Broncos in order to get a decent payload.

This sucks. After factoring in resale, I feel like I’m overpaying 3-4K for extra payload / roof rack cargo box. Given the average buyer ofa Badlands probably doesn’t care as much about these limitations.

From my understanding of the video QnA. The weight "issues" are application code enforced using bad logic and aren't true to actual weight, however that doesn't help out trying to build your order via BnP.

Think deeper...this will bubble up to a bigger problem...you’ll see

youre an idiot. If you haven’t realized, this rollout, one of the biggest ones in the decade, is about to take on major twists and turns for gvwr issues. It won’t be VW dieselgate, but it will be bad. When the brand manager is almost crying trying to recite Fords executive scripted responses, it’s not a good sign for things to come.

call me a pessimist. But watch how this unfolds.

1. You have no sense of humor.
2. "Idiot" i challenge that remark.
3. I could dig way deeper into all of the issues, but sticks like you will get all up in arms...like now.
4. F U for the name calling.

That’s great. So what are your thoughts on all this? Please share your wisdom.

First thing I need to know is what is your level of programming and did you watch the painful 44 minute QnA?

Yes I did watch it. And I’ve also looked into their est curb weights compared to where they need to be in their class. This is developing into a big problem to lock out roof racks for Sasquatch editions and towing capacity for FEs

*4 dr FEs not 2 dr, and if the assumptions that they use in the logic of the cose assumes the worst, which adds to the error in BnP.
I am not saying there may not be some issues with adding certain combinations of add-ons, but the whole "think deeper" comment and reply was all humor.
My thinking deeper is if they fix they it may end up adding cost to the BnP.

Its a limitation, and only a problem if that is your intended use. I don't get the name calling either. El was just pointing out what was stated in the video.

Hopefully it can fill your needs, if it doesn't, hopefully you find something that will.

Also, you didn't answer my question about your programming (coding) knowledge. It makes a big difference if you are actual digging deeper with logic.
