Why all the hate on the OBX?

I'd probably be into that trim level if it weren't for the color matched fenders (w/o sas). It's a bit too Ford flex-like for me. I'm sure it'd be able to set up a swap w/someone on here, bit it's just extra hassle ?‍

I agree. But after I changed my color (for the 6th time) to black, I finally looked at obx serious. And I'm glad I did.

Just for consideration- has anyone noticed that the shadow black modular top Interior is dark grey vs the tan for the mic top? Or that the price for the 4x4 on demand on the OBX has gone from zero to 1590.00. Truth be told,the previous pricing for both my OBX and Badlands builds has gone up about 3 grand from last week.

My Outer Banks build price is the same, other than the $1895 for the Shadow Black mod top.

All black might be a push for me and the least irritating visually of the OBX colors.

It wouldn't be a problem as long as they are retracted. But the last action in removing the doors requires the door to be open which would cause the step to be extended. I wonder if after a set amount of time, they retract anyway?

Unplug from the OBD when they're in the closed position. The new F-150 with power steps has a kick switch on the end of the board, so it doesn't require the door to be open. Perhaps, someone on the aftermarket will offer that.

I keep seeing posters trashing the outer banks trim. Why? I’m not trying to hide that I’m a poser, it’s going to be a daily driver that I take camping in Florida a few times a year. What am I missing?

I don't know why people don't like it? I'm still in the air over OBX or BD....? Trying to figure out what I would use more... I like the way the OBX looks!

Are Wrangler hard tops no longer white on the inside?

In any case, from the pics, the interior of the Bronco hard top looks way better.

On the standard hot top that's a no. I'm not sure about the color matching tops.

Not on the Wrangler my friend, and I seriously doubt we'll see that on the Bronco either.

I like the OB’s grill much better. The WT and BL grill looks like a cheese grater and cheese graters are hard to clean. Imagine having 100 dead bugs stuck on them

Well the Bronco has a gray fiberglass weave that looks great. My old Jeep hard top was white on the inside. What color are they now on the inside? I know the exterior is still painted black (usually).

It's the same inside, and out now. Kind of a semi-gloss black.
