Yep, probably have to forgo them while the doors are off. Something to consider.
It wouldn't be a problem as long as they are retracted. But the last action in removing the doors requires the door to be open which would cause the step to be extended. I wonder if after a set amount of time, they retract anyway?

Majority of people who would buy an outer banks Bronco would not be on this website.

Most people who would join a fan website for a vehicle that's not been released and many of them joining years before , are the people who would want to have the full off road rugged setup.

I don't agree. I feel like the Bronco appeals to a wide range of folks. As long as you have adventure in your blood

the Bronco does appeal to a wide variety of folks but I don't think this website that we're posting on does.

I keep seeing posters trashing the outer banks trim. Why? I’m not trying to hide that I’m a poser, it’s going to be a daily driver that I take camping in Florida a few times a year. What am I missing?
Possibly that they’re overcompensating for their own personal deficiencies? That’d be my guess. But frankly, OBX is a great beach rig. I could add thousands to get options that would never be used on the flat beaches of Florida, and OBX has all the options anyone would need to push through the sand. Last time I checked there weren’t many vehicles you could get with a removable roof & doors so if those options are a must then Bronco is on your short list. Bottom line, just ignore the chatter of those who think their way is the only way.

Not sure your logic on that one. Ive owned a stock '66, a resto '76, a full size '78, and two Bronco IIs. And I just joined this group a couple months ago.

I've got a day one res and have had a Chubb for this truck since word one.

I'm in the south right now visiting family for Xmas. And I have never seen more lifted trucks in my life lol

I think the badlands and WT people want that lift and anything without it is an inferior product to them. But whats being forgotten is that the obx and lower trims are still quite capable!

The hate must be relative to this site. I've had painted flairs on my 74' for over 8 years since I finished building it and have received nothing but compliments. I don't have any damage (knocking on wood) and not one person asked me to turn in my man card.;)

"It's all about the [fender flares], baby" - Puff Daddy

I don't hate people who like it. I never liked the Sahara, because the painted fenders look odd to me. A friend said that it makes it look like a Mini Cooper. I won't go that far, but it's just a look that rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

If you dig it, then get it--Badlands, OBX, Bronco, or Jeep--doesn't matter a damn what other people say.

*please note: it doesn't stop me from talking smack, but it's all absurd and in jest.

Wow I would say you prove the point. You have had 5 broncos and you are on the 6g website.

Ford will sell 200,000 Bronco's a year once they get ramped up a few years from now. 90% of those people will never have even heard of this 6g website and they will be getting there first bronco not there 6th.

Your 6 bronco will be a 6th generation Bronco, did you plan that?

I'd probably be into that trim level if it weren't for the color matched fenders (w/o sas). It's a bit too Ford flex-like for me. I'm sure it'd be able to set up a swap w/someone on here, bit it's just extra hassle ?‍♀

I'm looking to add a set of power steps, but I'm not sure how that works with the doors off. The extension/retraction of the step is linked to the door open/close.
AMP Research has an over-ride switch you can mount to the dash.

Next year you will be able to control your powerstep with your smartphone.

POWERSTEP SMART SERIES RUNNING BOARD
COMING JANUARY 2021
PowerStep SmartSeries™ now offers in-app flexibility to retract and deploy power running board and LED lights.
