What downsides would come with getting 4.7 gearing without Sasquatch, and running 33's?

None. Broncos have plenty of OD gears for highway driving.

So also getting base squatch and selling the 35's, I wouldn't have to do anything to put 33's on?

Nope, having similar thoughts. Maybe a Non-Sas Badlands guy would swap

I did the math/ with a 0.65 OD 4.7's would have a equivalent final drive of 3.08 w/no overdrive. Back in the day we would have called these pretty steep for 33" tires.

Glad you've got it figured I have no idea what that means. Given the bronco has more gears these days, it's fine to do what we are discussing right?

LMAO...I just showed you it doesn’t. Unless it’s a glitch in the B&P
It doesn't do that for me on the laptop. Can't explain the difference. Bug maybe? Don't know.

Wow that’s funny. It works for me on the phone and the desktop. I hope it’s not a bug cause I’d like the 4.7!

I'm not in that models price range so I haven't been building that model. It could be a "cache thing" I suppose...

Yes, both transmissions have a wide range from lowest to highest gear which will be very forgiving of minor tire size changes both on and off road.

From an earlier post:

Gear Ratio / RPMs for New Tire (@ 65 mph)
2.352.732.943.073.213.313.423.553.733.914.114.274.564.885.135.295.385.716.177.17

I think your chart assumes a 1:1 transmission high gear. Broncos will have a 0.65:1 OD gear, so knock 35% off your rpm's. Really you won't notice the difference in 4.27's or 4.46's (Less than 5%). And mpg difference will be imperceptible, may even be better with the 4.46's. Now I'd say stay away from 3.73's if you're going over 32 inch tires and 4.70's if you're going less than 33's.

I don’t know how you did that but that was bad ass. Is there a benefit to having the 4.7 with 33s if you don’t plan on ever getting 35s?

can't decide on a sasquatch base, or a badlands, im don't really care about amenities, just looks. But I know for sure I don't need 35-inch tires, especially if all ima do is freeway driving as a daily, 5 days a week to work and back.
base on the left is 41180
badlands on the right is 46780
is it worth the somewhat better mpg, nicer interior, and pretty headlights to spend 5.5k more

I was stuck with the same decision and realized that if I am thinking about the Sasquatch and would like to have it I might as well go base w/ Sasquatch and get it cause once I get my bronco I will most likely regret not getting it and it will cost more to add Sasquatch after the fact. I don't think the mpg will be a huge difference with the 10 speed. I plan on keeping the 35" till they need to be replaced and might go down to 33". I like the fact that I can always go back to 35" if I want. If you go the badlands route and want 35" you will have to pay to fit those. I would rather just save that $4-5K.

Wow super informative! What about speedometer changes going from 35 down to 33? Nothing needed?
