manual states: ACCessory > hold down 2H > hold Brake and when I go to Settings, it says I haven’t completed the prerequisites. Anybody else with MANUAL experience this, am I missing a step?

Switch your vehicle to accessory mode by pressing the push button ignition switch without pressing any pedals.

Press the 2H button on the four-wheel drive mode control.

Leave the gearshift lever in the neutral position and fully press and hold both the clutch and the brake pedal.

Using the instrument cluster controls on the steering wheel, select Settings.

Select Neutral Tow.

Press and hold the OK button until a confirmation message appears in the IPC display.

i've also found if the bronco is not level enough it won't satisfy the requirements.

Seeing stories of people having issue with flat towing Broncos. I know it's a pita using a trailer when RVing. Ford will not warranty a transmission if something fails. Just not worth it to me. Just my 2 cents.

Along with the other advice do not hold the 2H button down, just monetary press it.

All of the problems I have seen with flat towing all involve the 4a transfer case. I think peasants like myself with the traditional TC are not seeing problems, though I've never tried to flat tow it myself.

Got the Bronc to go into Flat Neutral tow (need to follow the manual transmission protocol) but I am currently on 2nd trip to Ford trying to uncouple Flat tow.
Review: after figuring out the manual setup I successfully got flat tow enabled.
I then went to disabled flat tow, followed procedure, got notice it was disabled. But also got red Brake light & traction control alert.
I then drove vehicle and about 2 miles in, the dashboard warned Braking Active/Reduced Power.
I limped on over to Ford

next day technician went through what he could find and disconnected ABS, inspected connector & reconnected. That process deleted power to ABS and in doing so cleared all errors.

drove vehicle home, did errands etc and then wanted to do a flat tow set up, perform a flat tow test run & remove flat tow.
Flat tow enabled no problem, nor with towing (pretty wild).
So following the procedure (except the 5 min sleep period) we followed the HTML process, flat tow disabled AND we got same errors of ABS

got on Grok and recall 25s77 7/2025 addressed EBB/ABS so at dealer trying to get flash installed.
