E85 on 2025+

With having dual injection, we should be able to tune for quite a bit more fuel than the previous gen 2.3L. Does anyone offer a full e85 tune with dyno numbers? Or even an auto octane tune?

I don't think you'll be able to run full E85 even with a custom tune without significant fuel system upgrades.

But there are some custom tunes out there that offer ethanol tunes:

Why would you ever want to run E85?

It's more expensive (not per gallon, overall) to run as it has less potential energy so your MPG will be far lower. You're going to lower fuel efficiency 15-35% on a vehicle that is already in the teens for MPG.

The only time you should ever fuel up with E85 is when you're returning a rental car.

The only time you should ever fuel up with E85 is when you're returning a rental car.

Because where I live it's around 33-35% cheaper per gallon and would save me $80 per month with a 15% mpg loss. My bronco typically gets 22-23mpg on average and e85 can be tuned to make quite a bit more power than pump gas. But those are just my personal reasons

This is considered to be common knowledge to any person who has researched any sort of performance increase.

I just sold a 0to60 sub 3second car.
It meant nothing to the real world as it was an unusable silliness.
But
I think the 50mph to 80mph trap times are all that's important to daily drivers.
Ability to pass some mobile-chicane driving too slow.

E85 wins for .1% of travelling.
