Sloped/ uneven drivers seat

[STL2020]

Has anyone else experienced their drivers seat being uneven and sloped towards the drivers door? This is an issue—-I have a 2022 wildtrack with 35k miles and shouldn’t have this problem. I have read about others having the same problem and wondering how to fix it. I think this is more than simply replacing seat cushion given its age. Any suggestions ? Thanks !

That might explain why some of us experience a lot of pain in the right thigh only....I just grabbed a cushion from @cushionlabs. Fixed it...didn't solve it!

Pretty much every vehicle I've owned, not yet on the Bronco. The taller the vehicle the faster it happens.

Man, that was my dad back in the day. Once we asked him what the oldest receipt he had in there was and as far as he could tell (some weren't readable), he had a gas station receipt that was almost six years old. When we saw that episode, we were all like, "Holy crap, that's dad!"

I also did that into my early twenties, then someone helped me out by explaining it was why I had back pain. Now I have a little skinny one in my front pocket, and that back pain is gone.

Get some cargo pants. Wallet on lower left front pocket. Cell phone on lower right front pocket. Butt side pockets empty. Solved my sore back problem. Tougher for pickpockets.

I always throw my keys and wallet in the cargo pocket of the door before I climb in.

That said, if the seat is sloping, it ~could~ be either the mounting bolts have come loose, or a weld on the frame has broken.. so I'd definitely look under there before you drive it anymore just to make sure. May be worth pulling the seat out for a good inspection (not too hard to do - 4 bolts and a wiring harness)

Dont know it the construction is similar or not. Just went through this with my Gen1 Raptor. Turns out the lower cushion is attached to the base with a sort of drawstring. That string came loose and the inboard side of the bottom cushion popped up. I could see it by looking in under the front of the seat.

I use the ultimate purple seat cushion. My tushee never felt better. It does add some height, though.

There is a Safety Recall (NHTSA 26V268) on model years 2024 to 2026 regarding the front seat pivot bolts not tightened securely.
Maybe your 2022 has a similar issue.
My VIN number was on the list.
So the dealership will inspect my seats at the next oil change.

That is EXACTLY what I do! But Cargo Shorts.
I know there are spacers to elevate the front of the seats, perhaps using something similar on the door side?
