Repair or replace front left fender?

Dang it! I scraped my fender flare molding on a Sonic “mobile pick-up” sign of all things. It’s gonna bug me to look at it. Any way to “repair” or minimize the scrape, or should I just replace it?

No idea how deep it goes, but you could try soap and water.

I would try using a red scotchbrite on just the affected area, then work my way down in grit with sandpaper or sanding sponges, maybe start at 400 and try not go down too far, but knock down the high points and work your way back up to smooth it out. Then, you could get some of the Duracoat trim restoration stuff and use it on each fender or on all of your plastic bits that match.

It scraped off a thin layer of the plastic.

Me…. I would carefully use a heat gun to soften and make the thin scraped remnants soft and then while it’s still soft use a piece of scotchbrite or some sand paper to imprint texture. Ive used heat for various plastic repairs for many years so I myself would be confident in the repair. Just make sure to warm gradually so it doesn’t deform
