Honestly my Bronco experience has really soured my opinion of ford. I’ve had probably 10 in my life, but this one has been nothing but problems.

Just heard it has to sit at the dealer until probably July for parts

OP I saw your post on the FB group as well. Owning a Ford out of warranty is always pretty sketchy and given yours has been plagued with issues I would probably move on. On the flip side if your Bronco had lived a problem free life, then you at least have faith to ride things out past warranty.

Yes I’ll have mine long after warranty unless something changes.
I sure hope it stays this way, all my Fords have lasted a long time, over 200k.

All these China supplier made models with so much computer reliance have me wondering if cars have moved into a disposable model. Time will tell.
At $50k average, I sure hope they are not disposable.
I have already decided the mic tops are disposable and at some point mine will crack also.

That sucks, curious why does it need to sit at the dealer?
What’s causing it to not be drivable?

Just got word from the dealer that the sway bar fix is back ordered until late June / early July

There is no reason for it to sit at the dealer for the SBD.

Sorry that you are having problems. There was plenty of concern back at launch that the SBD will become a glorified boat anchor when it is out of warranty. Might be a partial reason why it is now optional on the Badlands.

It’s in limp mode, so no real way to drive it

Just dropped it off at the dealer again.

I have a 23 Badlands that I bought new. I’ve had it for less than two years and it only has 18k miles.

So far it’s on its second hard top for cracking, 4-5 recalls, the doors needed to be realigned due to chipping paint, the rear tailgate had the rattle (dealer couldn’t figure it out and wanted to replace the entire swing gate. Fixed myself in 10 mins), and now it’s getting its sway bar actuator replaced under a TSB.

I’ve had Fords my entire life, but this is ridiculous

I am concerned 0%.

Swap the hardtop for a soft, recalls are handled by Ford, panel alignment is extremely simple on the Bronco, and the rear gate rattle can be resolved by upgrading to a tailgate reinforcement brace with beefier hinges like those by IAG.

Love my '23 2dr Badlands with the 2.7 and luckily I have only had the Mic top cracking issue which they handled with no questions asked....4 times, lol. It's out of the 3year 36k warranty as of last month but I did purchase the 10 year extended from Grainger. It's the electronics that have me concerned enough to buy my 1st ever ext warranty for anything. I'm still driving my '91 Ranger occasionally that has over 300k and the '07 F-150 King Ranch I had when I reserved the Bronco had over 220k and is still going strong with its new owner. i've had many Fords over the years and over half of them were new purchases. Fords have been good to me so I'll stick it out hoping the Farley years are close to being a memory.

Limp mode for an add on feature that it does not even need to operate safely. That’s a problem that doesn’t need to exist.
Ive never regretted not having that feature, to many complaints about its reliability.
sorry man, that would rub me raw also.

Knock on wood ... 62,000 trouble free miles on my 2022 Badlands ... my daughter has a 2023 Outer Banks and has lost a low pressure fuel pump and battery while still under 36,000 miles. Not truly horrible ... batteries usually last 3yrs to 4yrs ... but the fuel pump is a head scratcher

My disco died a while ago, same issue, it let the magic sauce out of it and went to limp mode, I tend to find the issues early on. It has been 100% since replaced. I will keep the nag till she is sway backed..

With a base 2 door manual I did not leave much to break with zero options on it.
You are not lacking in most options.
No sbd, no ACC, no heated seats, no 360 cameras and bumper sensors.
But still lots of electronics and modules.
