As far as I know, First Editions aren't serialized in any special way. So any production number would be bundled along with every other 2-door AWD Bronco produced during 2021.

But if that information was available, you could order certificates here: https://fordshowparts.com/

I was able to get a window sticker from ford motor company.
1622/1680. I'm guessing that they made
1680 of this exact Bronco

That's just the production sequence for that particular day. Essentially... your Bronco was built near the end of the day. No indication of production overall.

Actually, if I remember correctly, the denominator was the 'run' that was scheduled to START on a specific date and the numerator was your position in that Run. It's actually lumped in with all other Broncos and Rangers scheduled at the plant on that date. It may not have even been started that day.

The best you can do is determine when the date (Which I cannot read) was in reference to the beginning of Production in late 2021. For Production numbers, search for that in the Forum - they did track it, but only by Model (not color or door number). You'll be able to say you were one of I think it was 8000 or so (was doubled at one point because of demand after the initial offering). I know that they only made one 2-door for every three 4-doors. So that in itself makes it pretty rare.

It would be very cool to actually say that you were the XXth Grabber Blue 2 door First Edition out of XXX made that year, but you'd have to do a physical count to figure that out. Nothing was published with that level of granularity.

So at the top of my window sticker I see the 38/550. So I guess I was one of 550 in the batch. What is a batch? Like 550 in a row were made?

ChatGPT did find and tell me my "Special Order" was built 9/23/22! A birth date is kinda cool to know.

550 made on the day yours went down the line. The date listed under your sticker where it says "Special Order" is the day the window sticker was generated, not necessarily the build date. They were usually available about a week before they went down the line. If no delays in your build, it probably was completed the following week. But hey, close enough! Mine was a bastard build, sticker date of 3/29/22, blend date of 4/6/22, actual built date of 6/27/22. Chip shortage FTW!

Ah Ok! I know the "in service" date was October of '22 so I guess between 10/4 and the in service date was delivery and prep time.
To be more specific....

9/23/22 is your invoice date. That's basically when the order is sent to the assembly line for production

9/30/22 is your blend date. Traditionally it's been the body meets the frame on the assembly line (the two parts are "blended" together), but in the era of unibody vehicles I don't know if that's still accurate or not.

10/4/22 as @Ducati1098 said is the official build date, which used to be when the vehicle is released for shipping, but again... not sure if that's still the case these days. Pretty common for the blend date and build date to be the same date, but not always.

Very cool! Thank you for the breakdown and explanation!

To expand on what he said, generally the build date is "correct" for what he's capable of viewing. Further diving into the details it looks like it was shipped 10/13/22 which corroborates the mysteries of production dates. Blend generally means built within 24 hours but when that actually becomes the word of god on paper can vary vastly as we see here.
