Im a Ford tech if you really want to know if yours is done, DM me your VIN and I'll see if it produces a software verification codeHow could I verify that this recall update was automatically updated on my Bronco?
I have auto-updates turned on, but not sure if this has been updated.
Is there away to check/verify?
Did it show up on your Dash Screen. When I follow all the update steps my 2022 ET says I have no available updates [all are current]I got this letter in the mail.

Got the fix OTA last month in my 2024 BL then got this same letter today. There is a link and QR code in the letter so you can check to see if you had the fix installed already, OTA or by the dealer, and when I visited the site and input my VIN it says the recall is incomplete. Given my past experiences with SYNC and recalls/updates being reported back to the mothership I'm taking it with a grain of salt and not worrying about it. If they want to fuss with it during my next service visit then that's their time wasted not mine since I leave it there all day anyway.I got this letter in the mail.

Funny, I just checked my app and it says last update applied July 18 2024, but my screen in the truck says differently lolOn May 2, 2026, I received an OTA update for my 2024 Ford Bronco Badlands that addresses Safety Recall Notice 26S09. On the Ford app it shows that the update was successfully applied on May 2, 2026.
More than likely, yes. If you want it removed, you can always have your dealership contact SSSC. They should be able to remove from the system completely once proof is shown it was actually completed.I know that the software update was successfully applied, but I guess that Ford's various internal systems don't always get updated in a timely fashion to show that the update has been applied. Is this assumption correct?
