My order date was a couple days later but I don't have a build date yet. MT of course.
Yeah, those “consider automatic” production notes aren’t encouraging. 😕

Poetic license

Chevy advertised the 90s Camaro as being “from the country that invented rock n roll” despite it being assembled in Canada.
And yet Burton Cummings smiled when they did that.

What now? I negotiated what seemed to be a good below-invoice deal, put deposit down, waiting patiently for car to get built. And now Ford announces "from America to America" employee pricing on everything. How likely is this to be lower than what I negotiated? It seems employee pricing is usually a take-it-or-leave-it thing, but is it always the lowest or are deals often negotiated lower?

Ford Motor Company will offer employee pricing to all US shoppers: 'Handshake deal with every American'

The vehicle manufacturer called the new initiative a 'handshake deal with every American'

U.S. shoppers will be able to save on Ford vehicles this spring through a new initiative called From America, For America.

American consumers will have access to Ford's employee pricing from April 3 through June 2.

This means customers will pay the same amount as Ford's workers, which is below the dealer invoice price, a spokesperson for the automobile manufacturer told Fox News Digital in an email.

"We have the retail inventory to do this and a lot of choice for customers that need a vehicle," Ford Motor Company said in a statement.

During this period, shoppers will be able to save on 2024 and 2025 hybrid, plug-in hybrid, diesel and gas-powered Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The deal excludes the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs, the Raptors and Super Duty trucks.

Electric vehicle shoppers through Ford's Power Promise will also receive a complimentary home charger and standard installation through June 30, according to the announcement.

Ford cited "uncertain times" and the "complexities of a changing economy" as reasons for the campaign's launch.

"For 121 years, we've put our money where our mouth is, assembling vehicles that Americans rely on and supporting American jobs," Ford said in a statement. "Today, we’re proud to announce a new U.S. initiative that's more than just a promotion. It's a handshake deal with every American."
They should honor your deal unless there is a better one available. I worked for a car supplier for many years and had employee pricing. That’s where the deal should start and then if they are rebates available, those would be further deducted from the below invoice pricing. That’s what they should be doing now as well, but some dealerships will try to avoid that to pocket the profit for themselves.

But hey, I got an email today with my production date: week of Jun 9. Too bad that's after the probable price increases.

They should hold to the price when you made the order. I’m hoping employee pricing will actually make my sticker go down!

We picked up our 24 Badlands Sasquatch 300+ miles away Saturday after shopping for several days online. Got prices by calling several, visited my local dealer and drove one, and got the rest of the prices off dealer internet ads. I have 17 listed on my spreadsheet. Some stated added fees in the fine print or if I talked to them I asked or they showed it in an email quote. I added all dealer fees to the sticker MSRP so I could compare dealers true discount. 2024 discounts ranged from 0 to $7800 (until I found the one I bought). A couple 2025's I checked were, strangely, not much less discount than 2024s. The 2024 I bought was an outlier at $11K off MSRP. It is the Badlands Sasquatch with Hi/Lux package. Before driving there, I asked the salesman if there was something wrong with this unit and why it is discounted way more than everybody. He said this vehicle had been on the lot a while and was about to go off the Ford financing/floor plan (cant remember exact words). The dealer would have to buy it soon and tag it as a used vehicle. So their policy is get rid of them before that. The dealer experience was smoother than I expected and the sales guy and finance guy were friendly and never tried to hide anything or slip in some extra fees. This is in contrast to my local dealer, who actually inflated the MSRP $1800 in his quote without telling me. I rejected the deal but noticed it later and called, saying it looks like they made a mistake because the MSRP didn't match the window sticker. He said oh that was for nitrogen, tinted windows, etc., and they always add that. Sleazy!

No one here is going to be able to tell you that. Ask the dealer to print the invoice for you and it should show all the plan pricing. You are looking for A plan

A plan is ~4.5% below invoice. On a 60k vehicle that’s only $2,700.

So like I mentioned, depending on how much under invoice OP’s original deal was, it’s likely not any/much better.
Invoice is much lower than MSRP though by a Couple of 000’s? so that 2700 could be $5700 under MSRP? Not bad for those who hate haggling to get under MSRP

No. It's just reality. Wrangler prices are now probably real-world $10K+ lower than in 2023-2024 while Bronco real world prices have increased.

I see new 4Runners EVERYWHERE in Florida now. I didn't know sales were better than the Bronco but I believe it. For the same prices you get a better daily even though it is worse off-road.
