Nice. Any chance Ford might add this as an option to BD before we have to order in Dec? I'm just really curious to why only this trim are they not.

Maybe if they see enough of us opting for a cheaper model simply bc of this, it would seem a no brainer to just add it.

Or was this known even before the B&P came out?

I'd switch to BD in a heartbeat if they added it.

Probably not. I don't think B&P is as messed up as people want to believe it is. A lot of the "bugs" you see reported are more about wanting things than contradictions. There are issues, but I don't think this is one.

And does anybody know why on the BD you cannot get the sound deadening headliner on the hard top with squatch? Is it a weight issue? Seems bizzare?

It doesn't make sense. Maybe it has something to do with how the 10sp is mated to the 2 different engines? Maybe it's peculiar to OBX being a soccer mom road driver that can be priced different? Ever try to understand airline ticket pricing> You can't.

Oh. I agree. I wasn't saying it was an issue with B&P, but more of a whoopsie in product design/decision. To me (and what do I know) to add it, wouldn't be a major assembly change. If the BD can support it. Which sounds like everyone is saying it can... I was saying maybe the bronco team will see the demand and add it.

Same for me. Vinyl is holding me on BD. The lights can come later.

Figured I could always throw a seat cover over the vinyl if it got too out of hand.

The base light and grill look the best to me. I think the Base taillights look best also. Other options in the BD trim make the most sense to me. Some of the items in BD trim I do not care for either. I am choosing a trim level that makes me the most happy and not whining about the rest.

If you really want the ugly lights there are 5 of the 7 trim levels to choose from.

I'd love to see a night shot with the lights on. That's where you'll see it, obv.

I like both grills. Just the signature LEDs are making the difference on the BB.

I would say the same, but just worried about dark vinyl in Texas heat. Is MGV any cooler than typical vinyl seats? Rarely will I get to admire my Bronco's LEDs, but planting my back side on a vinyl seat in the summer? That I will do 9 months of the year.

Well, if the roof is removed a sunscreen will be handy but, I will always have a towel available to drape on the back of the seat if it should become unbearable.

Idk. Something isn't lining up with that logic to me.

I've seen aftermarket headlights for my Fusion selling for $1k+ so the $800 sounds right.

Right? LED takeoffs off the 17+ Fusions are over $1k. And Titanium tails are up to $600 or more.

Boats and jet skis sit out all day long in it without issue. I think leather gets hotter for sure and cloth can get moldy smelling if getting muddy.

I’m torn because I want the sig headlights but also want the vinyl. I actually think the BB grille is ugly, personally. Wish it were black.

That's an easy fix with some black spray paint. If i go with the BB, i may do that on mine.
