So I picked up my new Bronco yesterday...2026 Big Bend with Black Diamond package.
Noticed at the dealer the tow package wasn't installed. They advised me they have to install it at the dealership afterward, I thought dealers were not allowing this due to the complexity of install?
That aside, the improvements to my 2024 Big Bend are clear!
5. Windows seem thicker/sturdier in the doors
6. Opening/Closing doors sounds and feels much better
7. The stereo is actually listenable without needing to tear the thing apart!
No, it's not as good as what it will be, but the sub is actually working properly.
Did they make specific changes to the amp/speakers? different tuning?
This morning however, the stereo sounded anemic again...I did a soft reset by holding the power and >> buttons for 10 seconds. Turned the car off and on, and everything was back to normal.
Has anyone else noticed this with the sound system?
Any other goodies I should look for that I haven't found yet?

- Better backseat lighting
- Ambient lighting colors (nice)
- The instrument cluster is updated
- Shifting seems smoother, and shorter?? Maybe my imagination? Side note...My 2024 transmission was never right, always made "rotational" noise, they determined it was the syncros, replaced transmission at 10K miles. Even after that, when the clutch pedal was released the noise would come back. In reverse the noise was even more pronounced.
