I have the amber lights on AUX5 and I just leave it on. The led portion of it is on AUX2. The M&R ditch lights are wired similar, amber on AUX6 and led AUX3. The AUX switches turn on and off with the Bronco so with the AUX switch in the on position they technically come on when I start up. Hope that makes sense!
I just bought this M&R light bar, prob. will install tonight. I have the Aux switches, but have not wired anything to them yet. Sorry for the rookie question - but if the Amber DRL is on all the time, is it necessary to use an Aux switch for that (which just stays flipped on 24/7). is there another method to provide the DRL power without using up an aux switch?

I am sure there might be something you could tap into for the Amber lights to be on all the time, haven’t really thought about it. If you don’t want to take up an aux switch you could always run a separate rocker switch to the Amber portion as well and mount it on the big plastic piece under the steering wheel. If you decide to tap into something just be sure you get all your volts/amps figured out so you don’t overload a circuit.

I think I am going to pull the trigger on this M&R light bar. Just can't decide whether I want the amber backlight on all the time or to only come on with the headlights. I know I can wire both the white and amber to a switch but I think I might rather it only come on when the parking lights come on. Not sure I need the amber lights on during the day. What did others do?

If you have the UpFitters, just use two diff switches for DRL/Main.

Right but then I'd have to switch on the ambers.... I'd rather they come on automatically with the headlights and stay off during the day without having to use a switch at all.
