Not sure what changed, but the recall disappeared off my 2026 today. Dealer let me pick it up. He said all their 2026s were cleared, but the ‘25s are still recalled.

Same thing for me. Glad to see someone else having same experience. What was your build date do you know ?Not sure what changed, but the recall disappeared off my 2026 today. Dealer let me pick it up. He said all their 2026s were cleared, but the ‘25s are still recalled.

Hard to say, because my tracker was always messed up. In production was 1/17 and built date was 2/27. So it was built somewhere in that 6 week window I guess.Same thing for me. Glad to see someone else having same experience. What was your build date do you know ?
Yep same supposedly March 5 for me.Hard to say, because my tracker was always messed up. In production was 1/17 and built date was 2/27. So it was built somewhere in that 6 week window I guess.![]()
It’s possible some were done just before being released from the factory. They have access to things dealerships don’t obviously. Not sure what changed, but the recall disappeared off my 2026 today. Dealer let me pick it up. He said all their 2026s were cleared, but the ‘25s are still recalled.

Agreed that’s what I think has happened as wellIt’s possible some were done just before being released from the factory. The recall is relatively new, so Ford could’ve just simply done a blanket bulletin for the recall out of caution, then went back through and tracked the ones already done? Who knows.
Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve changed a recall and added or removed certain VINs.
I think the date I saw the recall covers was builds of feb 10 and earlier.FWIW, I just signed onto my Ford account and my 2026 sitting at Granger with a build date of 2/3 is still showing the recall.
These dates are tight. Mine was built Feb 8th, and I took delivery Feb 27. Website says I have a recall. Looks like between you and me is when the shit went downMy '26 arrived at the dealer on Mar 9th (Built Feb 9th). I was told today that the software update will be out on the 25th and I can come pick it up after that date.
I wouldn’t trust the build dates they have listed on the recall. They’re always wrong.I think the date I saw the recall covers was builds of feb 10 and earlier.
Thanks for the info. Your theory seems likely and might explain why mine (and others) sat at the factory for longer. It’s possible some were done just before being released from the factory. They have access to things dealerships don’t obviously.

Also they are all built in the same calendar year as the model yr currently. No 26s built in 25 ,25 in 24 etc etc.I wouldn’t trust the build dates they have listed on the recall. They’re always wrong.
For example this recall says build dates Sept. 23, 2020 - Feb. 10, 2026.
But Bronco production didn’t even begin until June of 2021 lol so none were built prior to that, especially not in 2020
That makes sense. I figured the stop-sale probably puts it higher on Ford’s list. Curious if something like this usually shows up in OASIS first before the calibration hits FDRS, or if those tend to drop at the same time.
My dealer put my Bronco in transportation mode yesterday to prepare it for a satellite OTA update from Ford today to clear the recall. I’m told they haven’t done it this way before so we will see if it works. If not, the “official” fix comes out Friday. Won’t know until end of business Thursday if the OTA update was successful.
