Oddly enough I had never heard of Blue Oval Industries until IrishMurph mentioned them, turns out they're located about an hours drive from my house. Definitely will be using them again in the future now that I know about them.
so I ordered the OEM console safe on Amazon for 165 and when it came, it had BOI tape on the box with their direct website saying to check out their wholesale prices on parts. and here we are. Mine comes tomorrow but needs a signature. I’ll pick it up at fedex on Thursday most likely.

I don´t know yet. Let me ask you, would $350 for installation be worth if it maintains the 3 year warranty? My bronco is 8 months old...
of course, but $150 maintains it even better in my eyes lol. I’ll find someone to do it for less. Not worried about it. I won’t give up the warranty

Did rev matching work on double clutch downshifts (for the manual bronco's that had rev matching....stock or tuned, whatever, don't care)?
yeah you can rev match manually….. tuned broncos before the summer of 24’ had the rev marching in their tunes. I just rev match manually.

in case you were wondering….. I’m a vodka or tequila guy 😂😂😂😂. Good luck! When is it being installed? Any deets on if rev match for MT is in that pretty little box?

I will happily buy you some booze if we ever meet haha, definitely appreciate it. I was really hoping BOI had the slide out tailgate for cheaper. I know the Bronco Tax is real but holy crap, $1500?? Maybe BOI will get them eventually.

Have an appointment Tuesday of next week to get it installed. I'm tempted to do it myself because I want to try it out but I'm with you on making sure there's a note in my service records saying a Ford/SAE technician installed it. I've dealt with that dealership a few times and they're super nice/helpful, but I was surprised that I had to explain to them what the part was, I figured they would have already installed a ProCal on some Mustangs at the very least.

Yeah, I hear you on the slide out tailgate! That’s the accessorie I want most, but I dont want to pay the crazy price lol. I’ve been seeing dealerships throwing crazy numbers out there for installing tunes, I think they try to scare us away. And if they don’t, they make way too much money for a half hour of labor

The dealership I use quoted me $189 which is one hour for them (sadly I am now old enough to remember when ~$200/hour rate was for the luxury brands but now is the norm for regular brands).

I opened the box this morning, they just had the install instructions and no feature list with rev matching listed on it so I guess we'll have to see if it's actually on there or not. I did find this post which looks to be an official response from Ford from 2024 from this forum, no clue why they're so wish-washy on something as basic as rev matching:

"Hello Brian,

As you know the Rev Match feature was removed from the M-9603-B23 kit. Our goal is to provide Bronco owners with the optimal driving experience. To achieve this goal and to ensure the best possible driving experience for our Bronco customers, Ford has removed the rev-matching feature from the current software.

Any new version of the calibration, or new download to the tool will not contain the rev match feature.

I understand that you had purchased this kit for that feature and I am sorry we are not able to provide it going forward. If you wish, I can see what I can do to work with the retailer you purchased the kit from for a refund.

Thank You,

Anthony Fodera

If you haven't seen it already, Broaddict has a Bronco slide out tail gate that arguably is better than Ford's (it has a slide out tool storage area rather than just a flat tabletop), flattens the cargo area with the rear seats, and is much less expensive at $900, I think I'm gonna spring for that whenever I get my tax refund.

Following! I'm considering this tune for my manual Sasquatch; hoping that $800 investment makes a night and day change.

It does not. The mid range torque boost is what is most significant about it, especially for a manual. Still, it’s not a night and day difference, but it is noticeable. Ford claims 30 extra horses at the top end, but I’m not convinced it actually delivers that, not that that would be all that significant.

if you’re looking for a night and day change, you’ll have to go with an aftermarket tune…

Lol, $150 I hear you... Let´s just hope this upgrade don´t heat up and wear the engines too much when pushed...

The Ford calibration isn't even coming close to pushing the engine at all.

Got you. Then they really should offer this option when your build out the car and order it...

First time poster. Picked up the 2025 about a week and a half ago. Ordered from Blue Oval on Monday and received today. Installed and it’s a pretty noticeable difference. Very fun. Shifts are much improved. Haven’t really floored it yet as I have 400 miles on the clock.

Chris

thanks to the OP for the info on where to buy

For us Cali folks, this kit is with CARB for testing. Hopefully soon.

Nice to hear that since you two have the new 25 2.3l MPC engine.

The tune for the 24 2.3 and earlier years added almost 100# Tq in the lower RPM’s

edited: seems the new 2.3l got 100# TQ too (chart shows less, doc states 415tq @ 3,500)
