I was looking online at pictures of 2026 Outer Banks, and they don't have body colored door handles? They look terrible with the MIC. Why is Ford getting cheap??

Did it have the black out package? That’s an “upgrade” according to Ford for the black out package. Same with the mirror covers I believe.
I have one on order. Dealer confirmed all handles will be MIC this year (or at least this production run). IMO, really detracts from the draw of this trim level.
FWIW, also losing approach lights on the side view mirrors.
Should just delete the OBX if its only painted flares for non SAS. So happy got '23 before they deleted fabric interior and 4A. The approach lights are great unless wear rubber or work boots all the time, and body colored handles are a small detail but big differentiator......Ill just have to order a Gwagon next time haha.
Theyre not gonna recover their multi BN losses by deleting body colored handles LOL.
Maybe they should delete 70% of mid and higl level managment that lost the many billions and let the heavy lifters make the decisons like offering bespoke alacarte options in the hundreds like one gets everywhere else in the wold instead of adopting thwe Soviet lada model on 7 colors and three trims...we all know how that all worked out.

My '21 WT has color matched handles. I fret over scratching it every time I reach for it. In '22 they dropped the color matched handles with MIC.
Thank you!! This comment means a lot to me, I thought I imagined WT had body matched handles at one point. Phew, I’m not crazy…At least not for this

That is correct. Unless you have the 60th Anniversary Package. I recorded a video with all the changes back in October when the order guides came out.

Its ridiculous. Whats the point of the outer banks now?
Found out that the LUX package on my 2026 OBX does not have the built in garage door opener buttons on the sun visor either. Ford is really removing items that a lot of us like. Sheesh......

Yeah, just discovered that yesterday. Trying to figure out a solution that doesn’t involve Alexa
Just grabbed a on the sunvisor remote from Chamberlin Liftmaster that I had and clipped it on the visor. Works fine, but I liked the other factory buttons better.
