Most likely, all depends upon your expectation I guess. It is basically a street legal tractor. If you are expecting anything else, you'll be disappointed, at least on road. Off road, is a different story..I’d love to drive one of those to see what all the hype is. I fear I’ll be dissapointed
As for the value, like everything else, it is supply and demand. Not that many in the US, and for a time at least, a larger number of people who wanted one. I've owned mine for nearly 30 years, so its basically held its value (given inflationary changes), a rarity for a vehicle, but I really had no idea when I bought it, that this would be the case..
Of course I no longer want to use it as intended now as a result. Feel like the 2 door Bronco is the closest option to a reimagined classic Defender 90, LR completely botched the new Defender from that standpoint..
Grenadier is a really great modernization of a Classic Defender 110, but no manual gearbox option, something that is important to me, for better or worse..
