Wonderful.

My steering rack just decided to make a bad sound and then fail with an error on the dash about steering assist problems.

I spent the entire day driving, then did two hours off-road, pulled into the neighborhood, turned into the driveway, "CRACK" . Everything looks good that I can see. At least it let me park in the garage so I can have it flat towed in the morning. It's the little wins we have to appreciate. Just glad it didn't happen at the top of a trail.
Wasn't the best way to end an already shit day, but it happens I guess.
