I am getting things ready for my soft top switch for the season and need to get a couple of accessories for my exposed racks soft top crossbars. I see they have a new website but old one also active. Just checking if things are still the same and if anyone purchased recently and had good...
Tubular or solid/stamped? What's your experience? Dreaming of warmer weather and thinking I should add half doors to keep the kids "contained". They love the no top fun machine but get a little freaked out at times without the doors.
I just got the EXR Awning brackets. Might only attach to their crossbars. Worth checking as they work pretty danm well and are solid. https://exrroofracks.com/products/exr-extra-strong-270-awning-bracket-2-pc-rated-for-very-large-awnings-bolts-to-exr-xbars-exr9611?variant=42347073175648
I have the EXR Roof Rack (exposed racks) and have used it on the hard top and you can also convert to no top (same crossbars), super simple, solid and made in US materials (i also have their kayak basket that clicks-in to the bars). currently $382 on their website. You just need to buy the...
And had the best day ever! Kayak, awning, rods, and I forget what else. Need the warm days to be back. Crossbars and mounts by EXRroofracks.com. Really solid and well made products- heavy duty and shipping can be expensive. Sharing in case because I just saw they are offering free shipping (but...
Hey guys! Anyone here using Exposed Racks with the Soft top (under the soft top)? Wondering if the soft top does close well (and not rub) over the crossbars when not in use ? Also, what do you carry with the roof rack and top down? Do you find it useful??
I have the OEM Rails and added Exposed Racks to the hard top mainly because I can use the same crossbars in Soft Top Mode when i make the switch. I don't hear any wind noise.
Planning on loading a 2 Person tent on this. The initial idea (and still the plan) was getting these soft top crossbars was to load the tent on no top mode (I really don't want to drill). But since these crossbars can be converted to hard top, we decided to give it a try. The bars feel very...
The Hard top crossbar install went great! My biggest win is that it clears my garage door! The bars sit about 5.5 in from the roof. As you can see these attach to the OEM rails. I removed the mid Bronco bar but kept the rear one because is it built into the rails. The plan is to load a 2 person...
Hey guys- I just got the hard top conversion kit from EXR to be able to install my Soft Top Crossbars on the Hard top. Installing in this weekend. Has anyone done this before? Will post updated to this thread on how it goes.
I have the Exposed Racks for soft top. It's a great system. Pretty simple to install (attaches to the frame of the vehicle), no drill, very solid and well made. Soft top closes over perfectly. Sunshade fits under the crossbar too.
What’s the best way to load a kayak or Sup *safely* with the top down? Expose Racks has a kayak carrier/ basket but I am looking for something easier. Anyone uses their kayak Mounts?
I have the Exposed Racks Roof racks for soft top. I also have their Kayak Carrier. The click-in option on the roof racks makes it very to “click-in” the Kayak carrier. In my experience the carrier has been awesome. It has a side load notch that is actually very helpful when loading our kayaks/...
