I have yet to see anything that works better than the stock LED headlights. paired with the auto-dimming I dont really see what could be improved on?

Honestly haven't seen anything of better quality than OEM.

Plenty of variety, and some excellent designs - but I haven't seen a single aftermarket headlight that hasn't been plagued by some sort of quality issues noted by multiple folks. Enough to keep me from throwing some cash at it at any rate.
Yes and no; I know I got the color glitches with my Morimoto's, but it's infinitely better than OEM and its also fun to change the colors of the headlights, with the glitches adding character

I have these and like them. Low beam cutoff is sharp. They work well in snow/icy conditions.

I put in a pair of ā€œold schoolā€ Hella halogen’s on either side of my bull bar on up fitter number three, just for this reason.

While I will agree that the aftermarket options all seem to have their issues, the OEM lights are dim AF. I’ve had Morimoto and now Form and the difference between each and the stock lights is yuuge.

The Morimoto were RGB and some of the color specific leds failed leading to a portion of the ring being a different color. Before this happened I loved them. So much light. They warrantied them but wanted the ones I had back first, which was bs. So I put them in the attic and bought Form. Initially they had a bit of the blue tinge that some folks complain about but that seems to have faded in time. Not quite as bright as the Morimotis but still WAY brighter than OEM. No bouncing observed. I didn’t like how distinct the DRL ring LEDs are but not too bothered by it. Then a couple of them went out. Form sent me a new headlight immediately and didn’t want the old one back at all.

OEM sealed beam headlights and taillights have one major thing the aftermarket lights will never have: they have completed the brutal test of full vehicle-level accelerated durability testing.

I assume (hope) that aftermarket lights do go thru their own component-level testing for impact, vibration, corrosion, water jet/submersion, and thermal cycling. I doubt they are as severe as OEM component-level tests, but even if they are, aftermarket lights still donā€˜t get exposed to vehicle-level durability. I’ve never seen even one post about any OEM light failing like aftermarket lights.

They failed (to adequately light up the road) every time I turned them on.

The dim OEM headlights are one of the major failings of the 6g.

I was not a fan of the the stock Signature headlights on my Wildtrak. Around town and short trips they were OK, but I live in Western CO and do a lot of night driving around the western states. A seven hour drive through pitch black WY while coming back home from a fishing trip last fall convinced me l needed to make a change.

Between the lack of peripheral illumination to spot deer on the side of the road, and the poor cut-off, I swapped them out to Aplharex Nova's. I love these lights, I can drive all night with very little fatigue on my 69 year old eyes. The Alpha's are not inexpensive, but as someone else pointed out, the lower cost aftermarket options are not good, and a couple that I looked at appeared to be way worse than the factory Sigs. Buy once, cry once. Also, they look great!

Alpha Rex is the only manufacturer I could find that makes lights for my older Duramax. They are pretty impressive. I passed on the ARs for my Bronco because the others are supposedly a little brighter, but if I had it to do over again I’d probably go that way.

I have had Alpha Rex in my F150 Raptor going on 6 years, and in my Bronco over 3 years. No problems whatsoever. And I’ve had numerous Baja Runs with both vehicles. Great lights IMHO.

I had to use my SS1 pods on my bumper for night driving. Now it's optional. I don't mind the color failing, it adds character imo

Why new cars don't come with Fogs is beyond me, but I'm gonna add better lighting, especially since I drive through a deer filled town heading to and from work
