I have a 2023 Badlands bronco that I'm looking to replace the front headlights. I'm interested in the Alpha Rex or the form lighting. Does anyone know if they will be offering any specials on Black Friday. Please give me your opinion on which headlight you prefer.

When I get the desire and money, @Form Lighting is it. And I'll bet they'll hit you back with a deal.

We have AlphaRex's on sale for Black Friday already! The AlphaBlacks are available for $1435 with free shipping.

As for the Forms, we can get you a really good deal on those, but they are on a 8-12 week backorder currently.

Alpha Rex lights do look really good, but I have not heard good things on their long term durability. A lot of folks ran them on their 4Runners in another forum I read a lot over the last 8 years (while owning Toyotas) and there were a lot of reports of premature failures of them within 2 or 3 years.

I don't think their warranty is that great either if I am not mistaken (only something like 2 years) and they usually require you to ship the light back to ge ta replacement (so you better keep your factory lights in case these go out).

I had Morimoto tails in my 4Runner for about 3 years and never had any issues with those and had heard good things about their headlights (plus I think they have better warranty coverage than Alpha Rex). I'm not sure what they offer for Broncos, but may want to take a peek also.

You could do fine with Alpha Rex, but spending nearly $2000 for a product with questionable long term reliability would worry me.

Form all the way. I wish I had started with headlights instead of buying a full DD setup for the bumper, as these offer so much more utility. They're great quality, something that alpharex cannot seem to get right

I am partial to the ORACLE Lighting BI-LED Headlights. These produce a very bright beam with a precise cut-off to limit the blinding to oncoming traffic. They produce a great fill that illuminates the road and shoulder. They are available in several options including Switchback and ColorShift!

Honestly the Form Lighting are the best bang for your buck. BUT they are currently on pre-order while they change some things in their design.

The AlphaRex are very similar to the Form, only less of a warranty and a higher price tag.

If it were my truck, this is the order from my favorite to least favorite

Form Lighting
Morimoto XB
AlphaRex
Morimoto XRGB (nice light but the DRL's have too many issues)

Anything else we would not recommend. We've tried every headlight on the market, and those are the ones that just work the best.

You can order them from us btw with FREE SHIPPING. You also earn rewards points with each purchase: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/vehicle-specific/ford/ford-bronco/headlights/

With after market headlights, do all the functions of auto headlights and auto high beams still function properly?

Yes. The signal from those functions come from the Bronco's computer. So those functions would still be available.

Yes as that's not an actual function/feature of the headlight BUT of a sensor that's on your truck. So no matter what headlight you go with they still should follow the same auto on/off as before since the trucks sensor is telling the circuit to turn on or off.
