are we worried about clutch slip yet? I haven’t noticed any with my Panda Tuner yet.
Does that tune utilize all the installed parts? I got a Volant CAI (Dry), Mishimoto Charge pipes, CP-E Intercooler, Turbosmart Kompact Blow Off Valve and CVFab downpipe

all of those would make a difference but because it works similar to a JB4 tuner, so no real hard fueling adjustments. that is where cobb is going to come ahead. real fueling tables and spark advance.

The FP tune is an actual tune like Cobb whereas the JB4 is a piggyback

Does not Ford claim a 25 hp and torque gain on the factory tune when running premium, which it is probably safe to assume they test with 93?

In the sports car and sports sedan world, there's a kind of general consensus that you need a gain of 25 before you can feel it with the butt meter and consistently see it in quarter mile times and trap speeds.

With the Bronco, being a heavier vehicle and more significantly having significantly more rotational mass with much heavier wheel and tire packages, 25 is probably not enough.

But I don't know, if someone with a base and the smallest tire and wheel package claim they can feel a significant difference between 87 and 93. I would tend to believe them. Of course what is "significant" is a personal definition, but again I bet a base on 93 factory tune is measurably different in the quarter mile...

which goes back to the Panda/Cobb tune being what we need, also why I inquired about clutches
panda tune is just another JB4 device, sorry. until we have accessports in hand the only actual “TUNE” for the 2.3 is the FP tune. All other devices are just piggybacks.

We can ad an aftermarket one and account for it with custom tuning (I believe)
You won’t need one. The stock LP ford pumps flow a ridiculous amount of fuel. So you’re better off just getting a free one when parts are available

Low side from Ford have been amazing for years. We hit their limit around 550WHP on the RS with E50. Surge Tank and we are now on our way. DI from Nostrum keeps improving and giving us more headroom as well which means there will be some monster 2.3 engines running all DI soon over 700WHP which we are excited about as well!
